IS CRYPTO SAFE? What is happening now and what you need to know.

Is crypto safe? What is happening now and what you need to know. DCG and what can happen next to the crypto market if more large centralised firms fail is a focus of this show. Digital currency group is a major player in the Crypto market. Their tagline is “The epicenter of the Bitcoin and Blockchain industry” Here is a link to the website

We all hope that the drama in the crypto industry is over but we are closely watching developments at DCG, Genesis and also Gemini. US government departments including the department of justice are investigating DCG. If you are in the crypto market then this needs to be something you are following. A failure of any of above mentioned companies will have a major impact on the industry, at least in the short to medium term . DCG, Digital currency group has Barry Silbert as its CEO and Barry is under immense pressured at the moment. Here is a link to his twitter
GBTC, the Greyscale Bitcoin Trust has long lobbied for a Bitcoin ETF but has not been able to achieve this. Here is a link to the 2022 end of year report from the CEO of GBTC

Key points and opening statement’s from Greyscales report are:
There Should Be U.S. Spot Bitcoin ETFs1: I strongly believe that investors would be best-protected by the standards, familiarities, and accessibility of a spot Bitcoin ETF. Now more than ever, it’s hard to understand why the SEC would not want to bring GBTC, the world’s largest Bitcoin investment vehicle – owned by nearly a million Americans – further into the regulatory perimeter.
Investors Deserve Stronger Regulatory Protections: U.S. investors are still accessing the crypto asset class, and recent events represent a strong reminder of why it’s important for investors to be able to gain access to crypto through the U.S. financial system – the cornerstone of our global economy.
FTX Was a Failure of People, Not a Failure of Crypto: Too many investors were harmed. From crypto to traditional finance, mainstream media, and D.C. – it seems few were spared from deception through false narratives and false documentation. We should not, however, conflate the actions of a few individuals and organizations with Bitcoin or Ethereum, the underlying blockchain technology, or smart contracts and decentralized finance applications.

These are all very valid points but in the last week we have seen the Winklevoss brothers pen an open letter to the CEO of DCG here is the link

Of most concern in this letter is the statement about intercompany loans between DCG and Genesis trading. There is clearly issues between major players in the crypto industry and if your invested in this space you need to follow this closely. Our goal is to help you understand what is currently happening and what the ramifications of any failure of these companies will be for you and the industry.

  1. Great breakdown of different factors<, their impacts and relevant concepts. Every financial goal requires patience, dedication and consistent spirit knowing that investment is currently the most lucrative business in the world. The current drop in bitcoin and other crypto currency is a great opportunity to invest, my first investment in crypto was a loss because I believed I could trade on my own with little understanding of how the market works. My fortune changed when I contacted Barton William a private financial advisor who use multiple call(buy) options strategy capable of returns six times higher than the potential loss these can be used in bullish and bearish circumstances, depending on the investors expectations thanks to him I've earn 13.7' btc! The history of BTC is lined with such events and the market will recover from it as it did in the past..

  2. Institutions make it easier for retail investors to have skin in the game with crypto. That's their only "value". Wallets are getting simpler all the time, with options to buy straight into it with KYC. Once the major chains break through into the mass market with simplicity, institutional crypto businesses will stop having those packages or not need to exist at all.
