The NY Mets are trading catcher James McCann who has spent the last to seasons with the team to the Baltimore Orioles in exchange for a player to be named later, as reported by Jeff Passan and Bob Nighengale. McCann had a down season in 2022 playing in only 61 games and hitting a miserable .195 on the season with 3 home runs and 18 RBIs with only 19 runs scored on 34 hits total.
