Install video for the JC Racing billet nitrogen caps with recessed Schrader valves and O ring valve caps on my 2019 Honda Talon X. The Fox shocks with the self sealing balls like thesse are prone to failure. These caps solve that problem for good. The design recesses the Schrader valve to protect it and they also have caps to seal the Schrader from any dirt or moisture. A simple upgrade that makes these shocks bulletproof.

this be done with the shocks still installed in the machine, correct? No oil will be lost if done right side up?
How is the softness/stifness setting on these nitrogen?
I just ordered these for my Talon Fox 2.5’s.
Can’t wait for them to come in the mail.
Have you tried changing the pressure in the shocks to see the difference in ride?
Did your shop fill the shocks using a nitrogen generator or compressed tank? I'm having a very difficult time finding anyone that can fill the shocks with nitrogen.
How about drilling the original cap and tapping a thread for a Schrader valve? Obviously would need to withstand plenty of PSI, but this could very well be a cheaper option.
Instead of drilling out the original caps I used a syringe needle and let the air out without having to drill.
Are the fox qs3 found on the honda pioneer a problem also?
Great video! I've heard a lot of different PSI for the nitrogen. Where did hear 200 psi?
Why cant you drill it upside down to keep the drillings in the cap?
Thanks for the video, Mr. Hatfield. Subbed 🙂
