    with them beating the drum about more "diversity" in films, just add this to the ever-increasing list of black-only films/tv series with a black-only cast.

  37. Some comments here are whinning about making a “white” movie into a “black” tv series, well guess what fellas whether ur a white, black, pink, indigo, red and all kinds of color out there THIS happens in real life!!!! This is marriage!!!! This is adultery!!!! This is betrayal!!!!

  38. I just started watching this and so far it's really good; they labeled it a comedy but it's more comedy drama. I did not watch the 90's version b/c it was too clownish and it did not represent the book at all. They destroyed Olivia Goldsmiths book.
    Anyway, I read the book and it was NOT a comedy at all. It was a really fantastic, drama, revenge, take the bad guys down book. It was about men treating women like crap but not getting away with it and women finding their strength and taking back their lives. If you have not read it, you must.

  45. I just binged overnight and let me tell you, it is the Show every Sistah should be watching right now! It’s written with serious humor, sass, reality Sistah’s can relate to and love! Oh, I hope there’s another season. They All acted their talented butts off! Tyler Perry should take writers notes from the PYT herself!
