Lay betting is a concept that is completely unique to Betfair. When you place a Lay bet you are betting on an outcome NOT to happen.
That means, if you Lay Alligator Blood, you are betting on any other horse to win. Or, if you lay Collingwood to win the Premiership, you are betting on any other AFL team to win the Grand Final.

Lay bet u are the book maker so if the horse is paying 7 bucks if u lay for 50 dollars u would lose like 350 bucks if that horse won if the horse loses u win 100 minus commision

that to me makes NO sense. Lay bet is AGAINST the outcome. Yet you're saying you don't want to go against Fury at the end. But that's what you just did.
How can i even or minimize my loss, when I first backed one team, and after my team starts to lose or will be draw, I lay against my team ?? How does that work?
