Lay The Draw Strategies (2 Profitable Approaches) // Are you struggling to make money Laying the Draw? In this video I am going to teach you two profitable strategies.

Lay the draw trading is a typical strategy that beginners gravitate towards. The problem is without the proper guidance, the right entries and exits, in the long run you probably will lose money.

However I am going to teach you both my lay the draw entry strategies as well as how I manage my exits. Of all the Betfair trading Strategies out there, this one is among the most straight forward and profitable once mastered.

So if you are into your betfair football trading, then this video is for you!

  1. Do you Know u can always lock in 15-35% profit on every trade on Betfair? It took me years of research and loses to discover the holy Grail.!!u can also milk the exchange, Ask me how.

  2. For both strategies you could also back the next draw up with 20% of your stake as insurance against an equalizer….e.g. you lay the draw for £10 and back the next draw for £2….if 0 -0 then back 1 – 1….if 1 – 1 then back 2 – 2….I find this works well and saves the worry of a late equaliser….also saves the need to cash out at 1st goal….a small reduction in profit and a slightly greater risk but it's surprising how often 2 goals happen and the match still finishes as a draw.

  3. This might sound a bit silly but how is this different from getting to half-time and just having a flat-out bet on another goal being scored? Same risk and result, as far as I can tell.

  4. Hi, Alex. Sorry for bother you I just wonder what websites do you advise us to use when it comes to use for statistic. I know that you advice soccer stats but is there any other site you recommend could you do so and speak little bit about you opinion and so on. 🙏🐵

  5. Thank you so much for your video. I've applied your tips on picking the right games. I'm glad to say I'm hitting 87% strike rate. Can you answer me one question. When checking my settled bets history, for each game there is a back and a lay settled bet. I was only expecting a lay. Why both?

  6. Great video …Do you use your own calculator, for cashing out.
Would like you to do a video about removing risk on a winning outcome that includes partial exits, dripping .

  7. I'd disagree somewhat about avoiding games that are 2-2 (or even higher scoring) draws at the time you are looking to enter the market with this lay the draw trade. My rationale is that such scorelines suggest an open contest in which the attacking intent of both sides is high. One exception would be if all the goals have been scored early and the action has latterly fizzled out.

  8. I do not know why but from time I started trade I very much gravitate towards football. I was not played football a lot in my life and I was preferred basketball but football is just great. I like also tennis. Maybe, who knows, is it for me some sort of calm sports. In my country there is football in high esteem but I can say we are ice hockey nation. Football seems more down to the earth sport and I like its set up and stadiums, still going on there something. It’s something about that sport.

  9. Hi mate love the videos. Just want to know what the different in between laying the draw and back the 12 double chance?

  10. hi why is it that you want one team to be better than the other? wouldn’t the worse team just sit back and defend to try to get a draw if they are playing someone better?

  11. It could've been more easier if you could've showed video examples on betfair instead of putting long speech

  12. Thanks for the great videos Alex. I've been trading for about three years now. Tried so many strategies it's untrue. I've come to a point where I need to stick to something for a while, or give up. I loved your +1.5 2nd half goals strategy idea and I just wondered if you ever use the first lay the draw idea from this video as a sort of cover for a failed/cashed out +1.5? So, maybe getting in on LTD around 70' when it's looking near to the time you have to cash out for a loss. Obviously there could be times where you could win both as an overlap trade. Is this something you do if the in play stats really indicate a goal but you have to cash out on 77'? Many thanks for the great content, it has in inspired me to give it one last go, maybe going back to basics for a bit 👍

  13. Where are some good statistic sites to find all this out? I apologize for being american first and foremost. Being american, i know nothing of football everywhere else in the world. So needless to say, i know NOTHING about non-american football statistics. (Dont worry i wont use the word "s–cer".) But anyway, to say im new at this is an understatement. Your video is awesome man. I have so much to learn. Thank you

  14. there is a much more sophisticated way of laying the draw which is around the time of the opening goal and game state ( current score ) , If you look at the construction of the draw in games that do not end 0-0 , in effect there must be a opening goal and a potential fightback goal > 1-1 .. or it could go > 2-0 > 2-1 > 2-2 … The question is therefore how does the time of the opening goal effect draw bias / lack of draw bias as time decays in an individual league which the hundreds of videos that look at laying the draw have never given exposure to . The standard LTD video in 2020 will be advice to lay the draw at 0-0 as time decays in the 2nd half without the author of that concept having any understanding of how 0-0 game state effects accuracy as time decays in an individual league ..

  15. Hello Alex, I have been using this strategy for a while, I was surprised to find it here, it as been quite profitable with high strike rate but considering the low odds( 1.30 -2.00) you need to stake a substantial amount of money of your bankroll to get a reasonable amount of profit, But the problem I face is when the losses come, some teams fail to score a goal early enough or don't but I prefer to leave the match till (FT) due to 90mins+ goals ! Is there any other way to go around this ? What's your approach to this ? Thanks in advance.

  16. Hi alex. Can you give an example relating to the odds and also how much you would place as your bet with the bookies and how much you would place on the exchange? I just can't seem to work out how the profit is made. If I place a bet and also lay the draw then there is roughly around £6 or less as a gauranteed loss, so how does this change when a goal is scored. Surely the cash out option for both outcomes will increase and decrease accordingly still gauranteeing a loss. I know I am clearly missing something so would you help me fill in the gaps? Thanks.

  17. Hi Alex,

Thanks for everything you do and the strategies you reveal to others. I'd like to get into the football trading market. From watching some of your youtube videos, I see that you use Betfair for your betting. I'm from Canada and Betfair doesn't allow Canadians to bet. I wanted to ask what other sites are good that I would be allowed to bet live football matches. I also wanted to ask what sites are the best for looking up football statistics that would help me to decide which games to bet. Thanks in advance. Darren
