This truck is ugly af
Meguires trim restore brings it back mint 👌🏽
Looks like shit tho
That is an awesome truck my friend. I recently purchased a Tundra myself and was doing some research on Linex and came upon this. Thank you for confirming for me that I want Linex.
9:03 There, I saved you ten minutes.
the LINE – X is a little flexible. so its perfect for the steel trucks as the steel will flex a bit.
That truck looks fantastic! Very well done, Trim protection makes so much sense, very understated. 👍🏻
Cool truck! You can prevent what you call "sun damage" by keeping a sealant on the paint. With that said, its tough to get up on the tops of vehicles (trucks are easier due to bed access) and we sometimes get lazy washing/detailing them. I think the better reason to line-x it is if you drive in ANY brush is the lack of scratching it if you happen to drive under a tree or set of brush lower than you expect. I've unfortunately done that myself. The great setup you have now is that you can wash, wax, and periodically polish a smaller area of the truck and keep it looking fantastic. Anyway, great video.
Why would you do the wheel arse flares? Plastic wont rust lol. Id be trying to do everything apart from plastics
Sweet Tundra!! That’s some beautiful country you’re filming at. Where are you? Semper Fi🤙🏻
i want to cover my house in this thick enough to make it bullet proof.
For the parts you did yourself, what method product did ya use?
Get the whole truck coated would look bad ass.
I definately want this on my 2010 Tundra. It is currently white and I think I'm going with grey
How much do u think it cost to do that to a whole escalade ext?
Just got my running boards done. Same ones too! I love them. Funny thing. I was thinking about getting my hood done too. You've sold me on it. Thanks!
Also, can't you get a clear coat done on the hood if you want that shine back? My Linex dealership applies a clear coat after the liner. Makes it nice and shiny again.
I have a question to you or anyone here i have a 2001 toyota 4runner. Its black and its fading. So I don't want to worry to wax and clay it. I was thinking of doing this. Its a 2wd but I just want to make it look new again and make it look tough by using this product. I was planning to do matte black but when I saw videos using line x got my interest.
Just curious, but does that add about 200lbs to your truck?
You should have had the whole truck done. I actually had a whole car done. It had a lot less Highway noise because of it.
Linex premium is liner with UV coating.
Pro tip watch at x2 speed. Good video but too many pauses and you talk slowly.
Who else misread the title as "25 years later".
I have 2002 Tacoma 4×4 and seriously thinking to have my hood and roof get LINE-X as the paint has faded and the clear coat is gone. You know that a vehicle's hood is the most abuse part on a vehicle especially pickups. I wonder if you sprayed some clear coat to your LINEX parts would it bring it back to life. Your Tundra looks good to me. I think it was a smart move to LINE-X your pickup especially the hood and roof.
Line the whole truck
Different strokes for different folks I guess.
Was it grey to start or black
I have an older Subaru Outback and sadly the clear coat on the roof is coming off. I’ve considered doing this to it. I love the factory green color i have on it now. I’m guessing they can color match or get close to it. If I did the whole vehicle I wouldn’t mind doing whatever green they carry,
I'd just do the whole truck. Saw a 2014 GMC 4×4 painted with it and it's nice.
Are you still able to remove the bolts in the bed?
Hafa adai. Nice video and great looking truck! I'm not sure yet, but I have a 2016 Tundra that im thinking about having entirely coated in line-x
Thumbs up brother. I have a 2020 ram and am thinking of going this route. Plan on having line-x paint match the blue for my truck
