2. hi there – this is really interesting – watched the same video twice now – once the first time 3 months ago – i have somehow made my way back to it – i have entered the nft space – trying to make money minting nfts – getting in on the mint of an nft almost always results in some kind of profit on the secondary market – i enter so many whitelist giveaways a day – they almost always ask you to retweet and tag 3 people in the comments – i have built up a list of people i follow and am careful to not spam people – ie can put tags without it being the same people frequently. but it is so laborious and a numbers game – maybe 3 positive results in the last month – if i could enter more and spend less time actually manually doing this laborious job it would be great. i would imagine this would be an easy bot to create though i am not technical myself – ie a bot which hunts for specific phrases like 'whitelist giveaway' then retweets/ likes/follows on your behalf and randomly puts 3 names from your following list – do you know of such a bot or know how i could go about finding one?

7. I know this is an old video, and I enjoyed it, but I believe this didn't work because you didn't think about what would generate the most followers and views. Reposting and liking content only will never generate the same following that posting your own tweets with hashtags or quoting tweets will. It's just not how the Twitter algorithm works. Creating a bot that pulls information from tweets or news outlets and tweets them itself would generate a lot more followers I would imagine

I would like to take several I2C sensors and read the temperatures from several freezers and display the temperatures once a day on twitter as a log and if they ever drop below safe tweet them with a special hashtag so there is a record. It's like an IOT device but I want to do it for a food bank so they can monitor their temperatures automagically. Anyone have any thoughts on this idea?

25. The middle third of this video is the back-and-forth email nonsense with Twitter support, and that is always my experience in dealing with them as well. Horrendous.

27. I created multiple bots starting in 2016-17, recently a guy came up recently and asked to sell my account for 500$ but I got to know he's fake after giving my credentials, however I managed to get my account back.

30. you don't even have to make a bot for such simple action. An free IFTTT applet will do this for you, don't even need a RasberryPi to run it.

33. I have done a lot of affiliate marketing in my day, spamming likes on twitter has the absolute lowest conversion rate, not saying what the reddit dude is saying isn't 'possible' but there are certainly better ways

    Bots aren't supposed to be on twitter. They're ruining the social platform and that's why they don't like it . So don't think they'll let you in for "making money" through a bot.

37. I don't think this was a fair test they only claimed they did celebrities. I think targeting the right cult like fan base could work really well. Posing as an actual person might be more relatable for fans so I'd try to hide it being a bot as much as possible, and interact with the community yourself. Also, instead of posting every 30 mins make it random and more frequent and only with a 14 hour window. Make the bot smarter. I think by making tweets under the celebrities posts, and hashtags related to them, and piggy back off of the celebrities success a little more.

43. I think both accounts would have gotten better results if they where related to high demand tweets. Such as stocks, covid or the game systems(ps5/xbox).

44. I wanted to use Twitter to run NLP on $Ticker symbols being posted.. they never even got back to me. I'm going to give it another try though once I flesh out the scripts, and if they still don't give API access, I'll just do it the "manual" way through urllib and beautiful soup.

45. There are some server hosts that charge like $9 a year for like 1 GB ram 20gb SSD which is cheaper than a raspberry pi
