Marcus Armitage tries to land a golf ball in a speeding car | Guinness World Records 2021








The European Tour and Callaway Golf challenge Marcus Armitage to break the Guinness World Records TM title for ‘Farthest golf shot caught in a moving car’.

Two years on from our last Guinness World Records video, we took Marcus to Elvington Airfield in Yorkshire to try to break the long-standing record set by former Formula 1 driver David Coulthard and golfer Jake Shepherd in 2012.

Armed with his new Callaway EPIC Driver, and with 273 yards to beat, can Marcus and BMW motorsport driver Paul O’Neill do it? Let’s find out…

  2. Not sure who has the harder job – hitting a drive 280 with a baby fade or driving a BMW to catch said drive…

  3. Clever way to burn stupidly co2. Bmw with their outdated petrol cars 🙄 not a pleasant sponsor at all.
    Pro golfing is not yet a good example of environmental aware spirit generally.
