  1. It's just mind boggling that Maserati launched the most important model the MC20 in two of the worst colours I have seen. the hideous blue and yellow and the white is ok but not more! Why these shades? The green shown at 3:15 is not an official colour but looks way better! Most people I have talked to about it say the same, the blue shade just don't fit the car, the yellow are too outdated, and the white looks too "whatever"! I really love Maserati and I had hope for more!

  2. Honestly, didn't realize they were in a pinch. I thought all their new ideas and ambitions would push them to greater success. Hope this money helps!

  3. If they want to persuade their candidate customers that Maserati is a serious quality brand, they should prove it. For example, in many of today's models, you can easily find in their interior, cheap plastic parts which downgrades the brand.
It is more than obvious that Maserati lacks in built quality, compared to cars of the same price.
So, despite the fact that Maserati as a brand name, (with such a history) is still highly respected, it will be very difficult to survive, if they will not upgrade their quality standards.

  4. Ron, the fact that Stellantis had to spend this kind of cash to 'save the brand' is unsettling. It means the brand was headed down the tubes unless such drastic measures were administered. I have said for years now, social media has murdered this historic brand. Mostly from people who have never driven a Maserati, much less owned one. It never was a mid level, inexpensive brand. The hate from jealous social media idiots and influencers like Doug DeMuro and Scotty Kilmer, have done horrendous damage to the reputation of the brand. I always liked Maserati, I can't afford one, but I support the brand (otherwise why would I be here?). Its time for the brand to fight back and do more advertising etc, to promote the brand.

  5. I understand that the first production run of the Maserati MC20 has already been sold out. That is F-ing awesome. I want one too.

  6. wow more money to Maserati, this is crazy. They already got so many new models and Alfa got nothing, I almost feel sick when I see that Alfa MC20. Im sure there is many many Alfa lovers who are gradually starting to hate whole brand…and this all because FCAs very bad bad leading

  7. This is good news. The world needs Italian automakers; has anyone seen the new Toyota EV prototypes???? My eyes are still recovering…..

  8. Finally, I was at Ferrari CF looking at the Portofino starting 220K and if the MC20 is north of 200K it will be a tough sell. ferrari with 620 HP vs MC20 620 HP ???? if you truly had a choice I think most people would opt for the Ferrari… Just saying. now if it is 150 K or 175 K better.

  9. I think it will help but it will depend on how the brand is projected internationally. Furthermore, it needs to become more reliable, less dependent on lower brand/partner parts. Its an up hill battle since Porsche, BMW, Audi are brands which sells 5-10 x more and they have more models from very cheap to very expensive. A cheap Ghibli around 75K vs a 75K BMW 5 series (which would be its direct competitor) is like day and night unfortunately. No doubt the style is beautiful. But reliability and certain cheap parts are killing it! my humble opinion. Hope you are doing well my friend.

  10. New models are really needed! This investment into the brand should help a little. Let’s wait and see how they do over the next 3 years. “With that said” I’m still a believer in Italian cars.

  11. Italians have been wrecked by EuroZone…Stellantis seems to be their last fight back before the obliteration of EV era…

  12. Italian really need to take their built quality and innovation seriously, they can’t keep playing the “romantic” card, a car is a machine, we need durability and reliability
