  1. 💥💥💥‼️ Thanks to your video, I’m pleased to share that I have successfully changed my 3’s spark plugs for the first time, then taken it for a spin, and there have since been tens of thousands of happy little explosions, and not a single one of them was unexpected 🥳. Thanks for your clear, concise, and thorough walkthrough.

  2. Good video. It's important to emphasize the torqueing. But no mention of gaping the plugs which is recommended.

Unfortunately, a friend of mine couldn't replace most of the plugs because they were either seized or he didn't want to risk stripping the plug. He ended up going to the dealer and paid $100 for the labour. But for anyone else you have to buy all the hardware like the torque wrench and other accessories.

There's a lot that can go wrong here if you're not careful. I guess this is why the dealer charges so much to do this. I'm not sure if I'd go to Midas type garage since they love to cut corners.

  3. Excellent, excellent video. I need to replace the spark plugs on my 2010 Mazda 3 and this video gave me confidence in doing it myself.

One question. I’ve seen other videos were people gapped the new spark plugs before installing them. I remember back in the day when that was necessary, but I didn’t know people still do that. Is gapping the spark plugs necessary?

  4. I never changed a spark plug before, I didn't even know exactly where they were in my engine, but did all four very easily today thanks to your guide. The owner's manual may possibly explain where to find them, but if it does the information is buried.

  5. One pointer to add … if you have compressed air, blow the dust & debris from the cavity where the plugs are located after removing coils while plugs are still in place to minimize the debris and dust from entering the cylinder while removing and installing plugs.

  6. Perfect. This is my weekend project. Quick question. Do you need to adjust the gap on the spark plug head or just go with how they come from box?

  7. I checked many videos, but used this one as main guidance to change my own spark plugs. Huge thanks, very detailed and very easy to understand

  8. You know what's funny I know how to change out spark plugs but I got a defective one so I freaked out a little bit and this video was helpful to remind me I didn't do anything wrong, thanks again!

  9. any tips on getting an old stuck parkplug out of my mazda? I dont want to strip it but its in tight-the other 3 were mega corroded…

  10. My 2005 mazda has one of the yellow bracket things on the first coil pack. I was wondering if there was a way to get it off?

  11. Dealership was charging me $363 to replace my spark plugs, I paid $64 for everything, and did it in 15 minutes after watching this video. Thank you.

  12. These 4 cylinders jobs are easy af changed my bros kia soul. My v6 caddy was a pain , had to take off manifold
