  1. My husband and I love getting to do hydrotherapy. At the secrets Resorts we like to go to the spa has hydrotherapy circuit we go every day when we're on vacation.

  2. I started keto…my blood sugar no longer shot up after meal. Instead, they climb very slowly. Instead of peaking in an hour, it peaks at 2 hour point but stay there for hours….. while it’s not the horrible high BG, it’s still not normal

  3. Hi Dr Boz.
I thought you might like to look at my data siince18 months ago.

A few blips along the way. My metabolic Dr. is very impressed with the lifestyle change. My GP, lol, is still suggesting statin therapy. I really love him, though, so Im not giving up on him. Disapline, a CGM for about one year. A food journal and deep diving into the low-carb, keto, ketovore, and carnivor You Tube U lectures. 48 waist to 32 waist. Im at my high school weight. Dont buy clothes while you are losing weight. 😂 I love watching your podcasts!!!

  4. Thanks Dr Boz!

It would be interesting to see if you get the same BG raise during sauna if you wrapped a towel around the CGM sensor to somewhat protect it against high ambient temperatures?

  5. Hilarious. I live in the UP and everyone does saunas and cold plunges. Or sometimes in winter diving into the snow. Never heard of taking blood pressure etc. This sounds so technical!

  6. Hi Dr. Boz! My experience is very different! After cold exposure, my ketones shot up! The blood glucose stayed low-normal, so I am not sure why the difference in results. I understood that mitochondria decouple when there is tremendous load on them to protect the mitochondria from ROS. Am I incorrect in this understanding? Thanks!

  7. My CGM numbers always spike some during a shower and then come back to baseline or lower afterwards, at a similar rate. I still wonder if it’s real or if something about the temperature rise that confuses the CGM. <shrug>

  8. I’m new to your channel, but really like your videos. I started keto 3 weeks ago. My Garmin watch shows extremely high levels of stress, meaning my HRV is going crazy, even when I sleep. My body battery is not recharging. I feel exhausted. And I get moments of a plus rate over 100 when I’m not doing anything. I’m worried. Is this normal? What should I do?

  9. I didnt eat for 40 hours and my glucose was 80……keytones were only 0.6………..but that was after eating carbs on the weekend..

  10. Over this past summer because of all your talks about Sauna's and how great they are for you I ask my husband for one and he SAID absolutely NOT where on earth would we put it?? So, I did the next best thing. Every chance I got I used my vehicle. I parked it in the SUN all day and after work with a HUGE smile on my face I just got in with the heat on and drove home. 22 Min drive. Sometimes I would send a picture to my fellow co-workers as we work in the HEALTHCARE with dripping sweat at the first stop sign as they would laugh hysterically and tell me I was CRAZY! But it worked. I stressed my body. My CGM showed it 🙂 My husband gave me a temp gauge and I drove with it in my car just to see how HOT I could get the inside, call me CRAZY but when everyone was complaining when it was 90-100 outside I was tickled PINK. I am so excited I finally got to share this story too BAHAHAHAHA

  11. Hi Dr. Boz! Isn't "glycogen" stored in the liver and muscle cells (not glucose). Glycogen = storage of glucose. Your language suggested that glucose is stored and released, but I would say that glycogen is stored and broken down to release glucose. I still think it would be WONDERFUL if you could find a computer helper to access your "special slides" and other materials so you can focus on your message delivery without all the pauses, hesitations, "Ums", and so forth. I suppose it's a monetary issue. Oh, well!!!

  12. I had RNY gastric bypass surgery 11 years ago and was diagnosed with postprandial hyper insulinemic hypoglycemia which my endocrinologist said was caused by my gastric bypass surgery. He advised me to cut carbs because my glucose dropped to 40-35 causing me to pass out. I tried low carb but kept falling off the wagon. In October last year we started a strict keto diet eating no more than 20 carbs daily but the low sugar episodes at night are still occurring. Now my primary care DR gave me a diet yesterday in which he wants me to eat every 3 hours eating 30-40 grams of carbs each time. I cannot see how this would help me. I have been following you on YouTube for the last 6 months and I love learning from you. I am confused by what my Dr has told me to do. I am a 72 year old woman and keto has changed my life and I have lost all my weight and I do not want to go backwards with my health. Any suggestions would be so appreciated. ❤️❤️❤️

  13. So my understanding of type2 is over filling your liver then.when u here of people that got rid of there type2 with been 20 years

  14. Does anybody know if Dr Boz would still have her mom do the 40 day fast to recover from cancer or if she might recommend carnavore or keto with OMAD or every other day meal?

  15. I watched your playlist featuring Lachlyn. As a fellow t1d I enjoyed seeing her case study, and would love to see an update on her.

I have seen it mentioned in your videos about blood sugar being higher during extended fasts, even though insulin is down, due to "popping glycogen bubbles". I was wondering if, theoretically, a t1d could simulate that by having a bit higher blood glucose target during extended fasting. Such as changing the target bg from 75 mg/dl to 100 mg/dl?

  16. For all you keto fanatics

Carbohydrates are the main energy source of the human diet. The metabolic disposal of dietary carbohydrates is direct oxidation in various tissues, glycogen synthesis (in liver and muscles), and hepatic de novo lipogenesis.

You keto bs is not for long term
You all been brain washed in your journey for truth

Not all carbs are the same, do your research or ask me
Non of you on the right diet
