Hope this gives you some trading motivation because this trading journey is hard as fck and it is definitely not for everyone. My trading journey involves a lot of setbacks, being scammed and blowing a lot of trading accounts. The difference between me and other traders is just that I learn from my trading losses while most others quit.

I hope that my trading journey and story can give you some motivation to work hard on your trading and investing skills. I will share with you my quick story on how I went from being a student to full time trader. I studied finance when I was in university so the knowledge from university really helped me in my trading.

I have been trading forex for over 10 years now since I started learning at a young age. My mom is a stock investor so she is my inspiration to get started on this trading journey.

Karen represented her university in a trading competition and managed to rank #1 in a Singapore nationwide Forex trading competition, competing with over 200 traders from NUS, NTU, SIM, SMU & the 5 polytechnics based in Singapore. She was also ranked 10th in a contest organized by FX Street, competing with over 3000 traders from over 20 countries. She was also ranked top 3 in other Asian trading contests.
She is the author of “Fundamentals of Currency Trading”.
