Bro u literally described my life for the past two years. i got into trading in 2020 like every new trader, just graduated in December with a finance degree from csulb, and now it’s time to grind a full time job. Trading is really super stressful but i love it, putting in the 10k hours is what i strive for. I think i still have about another 2-3 years before i crack the emotional regulation code as i am a greedy bastard smh. Thanks for all the info i just stumbled on ur acct a few days ago and everything has been awesome that u put out!
Thats cool somebody made it. Im trading forex since 2007 so rougly for 15 years and even after more than 25,000 hours of trading im only good at loosing my money over time.

my first goal from trading is to double my account
The biggest game changer for me that finally turned me into a consistently profitable trader was completely abandoning goals based on numbers and instead focusing on goals based on process and following rules. Every day I would grade myself on correct position size, taking stop losses, not over trading, not revenge trading, forcing myself to stop trading at my daily lock out amount, and only taking trades based on my edge. When I used to have goals based on P&L, it affected my trading in negative ways, and I couldn't find consistency. When I finally changed my mindset and only focused on following rules, I started consistently growing my account 20%+ each month.
I’m way too late but this year for 2022 my goal is to hit 6 figure trading I have been trading for a little over one year. I’m not good but I can make a couple cents that’s far from 6 figure. But that’s one of my goals to make it or die trying. Good luck to everyone

I will be a full time trader soon. I been learning for the last 3 years and just since may of this year I actually started trading and thru good people and good mentors I have a strategy that of course I am constantly tweaking but I am very close . Top step just might be my next move. I think I could do it by myself but it will take a long time to grow a small account. I know tho that I will be a full time trader soon.

Hey. I feel like your story is very similar to mine. Junior in College, made a few lucky plays trading $2 off disney stock and thought I was a pro. Went into pennies for higher volatility and returns, got burned A LOT. After college, started trading options. Thought it was my calling but got burned more than ever. After 3 years of development, I recently decided it's time to stop losing money. Even though I had strong confidence in my strategy, options were not doing well for me. Then I tried TopstepTrader and started trading futures this month. Just completed step 2 and realized Futures was my calling. I can do at night after work under low volume conditions and still make a lot off the leverage. I tweaked my strategy from options into futures trading and scalped my way to victory. I hope one day and maybe soon, I can be just like you and trade full time at home. Looking forward to more of your content.

Hey Matt, I am new to trading and have been following your videos for awhile. Thanks for sharing your knowledge it has helped me to start getting my feet wet. I am in step 1 on ts and learning. For a retired guy its a little intimidating trying to keep up with the fast pace you guys talk and think but it has helped being able to see what is going on in your videos. Funny, I also went through penny stocks 20 years ago and also my (now ex) wife's ring was funded by me cleaning out a lot of silver I bought that had gone up considerably. Wish I still had the silver, what a terrible re-investment… When I got into futures 15 years ago it was extremely different to trade them (no daily margin as far I knew, the charts were web based crap and only one company offered online trading without a expensive setups, the micros either didn't exist or had no volume, you traded your own money, etc) but I KNEW this was the FUTURE for me, for the same reasons you brought up.
As an old geezer would say, "You kids have no idea how easy you got it today!"
