I only series I like that you featured is P-Valley. I hate they killed of the character Big Teak on P Valley. He was hot and sexy played by the actor, John Clarence Stewart. I have Starz, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. The other series feature, the gay storylines has people too young almost borderline with child porn or they're featured in another language besides English. I get headaches trying to read sub-titles. I tried watching Shadow and Bone, but I found it to be boring.

Maestro in Blue has gay trauma tropes at their most pernicious. I really disliked the operatic gay storyline. I know that, as in Class, gay trauma can be realistic in some cultures and countries; but where Class keeps it relatively believable and subdued, Maestro in Blue does it in disturbingly ott ways,

Pretty sure the dude that plays Felipo in Sea Beyond plays Simone in Un Professore. Simone in the show closeted gay he starts realizing his gay once his starts hanging out with his love interest Manuel. Un Professore is the Italian version of Merli a Spanish show. Bruno being Simone counterpart in that show but they are very different characters since Bruno is out from the start while Simone still figuring out his sexuality.
Netflix has Merli Supere Aude which is a spin off sequel to Merli that focuses on Pol who is Manuel’s counterpart. Manuel and Pol do have more similarities then Bruno/Simone do but their story is still very different and I think it has to do with Simone being in the closet that changes the dynamic a lot from the original. I assume Manuel will be bisexual like Pol but by the end of season 1 of Un Professore is still up in the air but there is an obvious attraction between Simone and Manuel specially since Manuel was the one that kissed Simone at the end of the season. They recently started filming season 2.
Netflix needs to put both original Merli and Un Professore on Netflix.
