Peter Webb, Betfair – Directional scalping – The next level!

Somebody made a really good point on the first directional scalping video I did asking if it could be automated.

You can actually automate your entire Betfair trading on Bet Angel. But you can also use semi-automated features to aid you in your trading especially with this strategy.

I explore that and the global settings editor on Bet Angel in this video. Thanks for the suggestion!

  1. I watch a lot of course
    That's have 2 k at horse
In the afternoon before Australian open.
    The ultimate USA race.
By the way, must trade race English….
Comment from other guy are appreciated as well

  2. I find scalping difficult, more often than not while you are waiting to get matched after your initial entry it takes too long for the second bet to get matched and then the price is gone, really dont see this as a long term winning strategy , it doesnt matter how low your stakes are if your at the back of the queue and theres a few hundred in front of you youve basically had it .

  3. I use betangel trader, the off set bet is no good as it puts both bets in at the same time, meaning the offset bet can get matched before the actual bet,

  4. Peter what do you mean when you say there is money in there that looks completely wrong as at 2.32 on this video? I've noticed that you say this quite a lot on your videos. How does the amounts of money on each side impact on the decisions you make?

  5. superb video peter. Only recently started using bet angel as I have always been a gruss API man myself but this product is superb and these videos are brilliant in terms of being able to auto most of your strategies. I am a novice to mid trader but over time I am getting bet and bet angel makes position trading so much easier

  6. At 3.52….I don't know why you did that Peter, please can you explain exactly why and the reasoning behind it. Newbies no nothing. 😉

  7. Good Video Peter.I'd like the possibility to offset the same back/lay bet several times at various odds or even percentage of stake or green. I know it could be done in excel but would I be able to flip strategies at the click of a button. Example is: Back £100 @ 6 (manually) then automate (2) Lay £100 @ 4.0 then (3) lay £50 @ 3.0 then (4) lay  £100 @ 2.0 and then (5) lay £100 @ 1.4 I'm struggling to find any software with more than one offset option.

  8. Can you make it so that it offsets it at a percentage rather than number of ticks?
Also, can you get it to offset it at more than one price? For example, if I back at 5 half the stake is offset at 3 and other, half is offset at 2.

  9. Thanks for the video Peter, I've been using bet angel for a few months now but have not used the global settings yet..so much to learn but every video gets me a step closer

  10. "Can You See Why I Did That" that certainly pricked my curiosity, after several playbacks I believe it may have something to do with some strong supports at the end ladder on Bay Mirage which if it is is more food for thought as a horse at that price only counts for less than 12% of the book . the book% on the back side did touch 100% for a fraction of a second.

Also it may suggest that there is a delay when odds of different horses are interacting with each other and that its not always concurrent the balancing of the book %. Got so much to learn but Bet Angel TV helps me along.
