  1. Their advertising to the masses is 1% correct as most will never ever be on the premium charge. Betfair is very clever in making the premium charge as they know you will never be able to make the money you make on any betting site that you make on Betfair as if you win consistently on betting sites other than exchanges your bets will either be very limited & or banned completely. So they didnt like it that you found out how to make so much money & want to take a lot of it back off you. Its scummy but clever. & if you want to keep making your huge profits they will be smiling all the way to the bank

  2. I had my account closed with out recourse
In Australia because of their mistakes
How can I can get it back

  3. You watching skybet trying get out of that Bale goal? They got it boosted and loads of people on it, they paid out and then took winnings back

  4. Horseracing-wise I think Betfair are trying to kill off all in-running players. You just had a horse laid at 1000 win in Ireland. The layer has done 100 grand. But the problem is for the 1000 layers they are only nicking tenners and twenties these days, not hundreds like in the past, so a 100k loss is a massive blow. I think Betfair want in-running as automated as possible with only "mugs" playing.

  5. There are probably some rules which allows them to advertise in that way as long as 51 % costumers would benefit this way. It is similar in Financial Industry, but they always have to place information about that as it is required by y regulator.

  6. You want your cake and eat it. You continually slag off bookies for closing winning accounts, and now slagging the exchange for commission rates and premium charge on winning Exchange accounts. All customers for both are by definition consenting adults, and should have the intelligence to know how to make an informed choice for themselves.

If the conditions for your bet are so prohibitive or restrictive as to make it unviable for your personal situation, then don't bet, it's that simple.

  7. A friend said to me our only hope is if they sell the exchange. Where are the bettors forum shouting about this stuff? They are hopeless.

  8. If the betting industry in the UK continues to try and thwart any winners then who is going to inspire anyone to get into the game? Surely Findlay, Curley etc have inspired loads of us whether we make it or not. I wouldnt advise anyone in their 20s to pursue a career in racing or betting the way things are heading.

  9. It’s hard to imagine they aren’t seeding / trading in their own exchange markets too. American weekly horse racing has some miraculous piles of money arriving lightning fast prior to hey presto a stewards enquiry announcement. Lots of other spurious examples of either direct satellite access to immediate pictures 60 % premium charges. Money cannot arrive that quickly unless it’s via very sophisticated infrastructure.

  10. Thanks Caan, great video. I was actually surprised when I was gubbed by Betfair sportsbook, having only done a few weeks of their ACCA promotion. I actually thought they were 'fair'! Liars like the rest. Keep exposing them Caan, you're doing a great job.

  11. Half seen something in racing post about someone saying bookies restrictions to a punter for £1 stakes isn't bookmaking. Didn't read it as was in hurry but wondered if you would ha e seen it and put something out on it.

  12. Betfair went away from it's original set up when they introduced sportsbook, effectively playing bookmaker and risking their own money.

It seems successful punters had/have the benefits and incentives withdrawn, limits imposed and encouraged to use the exchange, which they seemingly, as I understand from this video, charge a premium commission for winning other people's money with no risk to their own.

So… how is the term Betfair now not infringing the trade descriptions act?

  13. Shame you have to remove comments that challenge your videos, don't worry Caan I won't post again and will unsuscribe., i hate to imagine you panicking at this time of the evening just in case someone dares to post something negative. you can rest easy it won't be me.

  14. Let's see your ''pro gambler'' bets. Trading doesn't make you a pro gambler imo. Scraping markets isn't hard. Professional gamblers back horses

  15. by defualt on betfair you get put on the 8% charge well my account was anyway when i created it about a year ago and didnt even realise till i checked the settings a couple of weeks after creating my account i thought you sneaky little cunts lol, as for the sports book side of things i think i was gubbed the minute i signed upto betfair as i was never able to place a bet of any size, i think anyone using the exchange just get auto stake restricted on there sports books lol, they are cunts but at least there not as bad as bookies and we dont have to worry about being winners on the exchange i would rather suck betfair off then be bummed by the bookie….just saying lol. As always Caan great video

  16. Caan been chasing you for a while in regards to a serious issue that needs getting out there. I’ve msged you on Instagram with the initial details. It’s a huge scam that im adamant will be exposed. I don’t want to think you are ignoring this issue im raising because it’s truly huge news and runs into the millions of pounds.please check you’re messages. Cheers

  17. Being stake restricted is the biggest issue for me. Just so annoying to be penalised in that way because you are good at finding value – like asking a world cup winning team to only field a keeper and striker against Lichenstein.

  18. Good vid Caan. The biggest issue with BF adverts both print , digital and TV , is , to the casual observer , the punter just sees BETFAIR and subconsciously thinks it`s ` all of Betfair ` that gives great odds. Very clever .

  19. After a positive development with the birth of the exchange the whole industry has gotten into the wrong direction again. Unfortunately governments and the enterprises themselves are not interested in creating fair market places for everyone.

Industry won't change that much. Nevertheless i guess we are at a point of no return and i believe things can't get much worse.

Living in democracys there will be market places in sports betting. Maybe a little bit like blue fin tunas, they won't be erased completely and remain at the top of the ecosystem.

  20. With Mark Iverson leaving Cricket trading (amongst others), Betfair trading community now seemingly selling expensive betting products, and yourself criticising the company you make your living from, Would you say trading is even worth pursuing at all any more?

  21. Whilst I can kind of understand why people may be loyal to one bookie (normally an OK sign up offer followed by laziness) it seems odd that people would sign up to BF and then back bets on BFSB given it'll pretty much always mean lower odds. The majority aren't going to be pro gamblers and are never going to have to know about the premium charges, so yeah, strange that BFSB gets any decent traffic over and above the promos / EPs that may be on offer?

  22. As a keen golf bettor, I can tell you that week after week Betfair consistently have the worst prices on the overwhelming majority of the favourites across both PGA and DP World Tour Events. In many instances their ‘Enhanced Win only’ prices aren’t even that good. Don’t forget the £2 daily free bet you can earn yourself on the Sportsbook though Caan! 👌🤣

  23. Upto 60% for consistent winners 😳😳😳😳😳😳😳…wow and here I was thinkin the exchange was different

  24. When offers look far too good to be true they usually are.The most important thing to remember is betting promotions and services are appealing to grab your interest . Until you take the time to look a bit closer you find they are misleading and sometimes unfair. Can't wait for the tipsters video!
