  1. I really like the whole "let us cling together as the years go by" motif in Queen songs. It shows up in Who Wants to Live Forever, These Are the Days of Our Lives, '39, and here. The bittersweet sense of love acted on by long time is really well portrayed.

  3. this was my senior yearbook quote the year i graduated, 1978. I adored this song then and still do…. only now it brings tears to my eyes for a different reason. Fred, ♥️ you'll never be gone to us.

  5. Before going to bed I'd listen to my mix Queen's cassette and this song is the ending. Like 30 years ago…

  6. I remember waking up to my pink radio gifted to me as a birthday present at some random morning hour. The announcer had said "Freddie Mercury has passed beyond us." I didn't know who that was. This song was played and I had vowed to always remember this as the most beautiful sound I had ever heard.
There is only one Queen! Continued Peace and Power Freddie Mercury!

  7. This song is unusual for Queen. It reminds me strongly of the songs of Loreena McKennett, a new age singer who is, I believe, Canadian.
