  1. I just bought a Lectric XP 3.0 Long Range, it will be here Monday 4/24. I do plan on adding a 2nd battery. I'm going to use a blender but the company I got mines from has been making this mod since the 1st Gen Lectric XP. I also plan to do a few more mod, like maybe 3000w hub motor, controller, and a 72v battery.

  2. Thank you for the great tutorial video
If you have 2 batteries with thr same capacity as the stock battery. What blender would you purchase? 20A?

  3. Hey man on the battery blender link there are 3 options 20A,30A and 40A which one do I select thanks for the amazing content by the way keep it up.

  4. Update on my Revv1 after one day of riding.. the rear wheel has locked up and it’s not the chain:(

Update: they said it’s most likely the freewheel that got spun off the wheel, they recommended to take it to my local bike shop and they’ll cover the labor

  5. Actually have a dual battery like yours. Two 10.4 amp batteries (one behind the seat post & one in the downtube) for a kilowatt combined. First thing is it seems to keep the voltage higher than just one battery at a time (swapping them), and second is the loss of range anxiety for everyday trips. But, ya just know that’s not going to last because after a (short) while your gonna start pushing the limits again. While listening to this video I logged the second ride on the current charge. Trying to see if I’ve got enough to pin down a 22 mile one way (44 round trip) with enough left to run around the destination.
After that, it’s a 50 mile one way same scene. That one will likely need charging mid point, which means I need to figure out how much time & charge I’ll need to finish the round trip, as in if where I have lunch mid point has a spot to mooch-charge the batteries discreetly.
Oh, since it’s a Lectric Premium, the dual battery setup came stock.
Which brings me to a catch with this setup. Make sure you turn on your batteries before you ride. They turn themselves off after a time without use. You don’t usually have a problem if you have a single battery as it’s pretty obvious if you have the battery mounted and you have no power. But with the second battery it’s not so obvious. One battery may be off and you won’t know it for a while. I now check with my meter directly on the batteries to see if power is available before mounting them.

  6. All the dual battery bikes are using a blender/mixer. Ariel Rider, Juiced. Il'll stop here cuz that's the end of my PURCHASED knowledge. So I get a hold of the blender from Branford Connecticut and blend up a 48 V 13.5 AH with a 52 V 20 AH on a 750 W Rattan and I cannot believe the Range.
A bit more top end speed, a bit more torque and double if not 3x the range. I never found out the true range cuz it worked. Super fun mod and when you have 7 ebikes you are able to take batteries from different bikes and play around. My blender mixer was 150.00 probably paid too much!
36V-48V-52V-60V- to 72 V can be blended no matter the AH and state of charge, beware and careful of the AMZ specials for 50bux. Garage fire is a house fire with zero recourse.
Area13Bolton types must have the same Volt batts, AH is not important but state of charge must be equal!!!????!!! I'll stick with my overpriced bit of confidence, who will not sell me a bike w/o batteries. There device said GO and build, I tried. just not their batteryless bike,
Also of importance never to be used, NEVER with a bike that has or HAD regenerative props,

  7. newbie here, so if you have 44A worth of batteries does getting a higher rated controller then the stock 28A do anything for this bike? Like make it go faster or more torque etc?

  8. Yoooo thanks for all the great info! Gonna use that link for the bike as well here in the next couple days! Looks like the battery connector you linked is sold out. I found another that is a 30a. Will that work?

  9. I put a 203mm rotor and adapter on the front of my reev 1 this afternoon, and yeah what a difference that big rotor makes. I'm 300lbs and wanted just a bit more help for the brakes.

  10. Run dual motor move that one to the front it can take the 72 volt because front will run less amps therefor less heat 45$ controller for the front the rear will be the main power with bigger controller
