Almost every race at Ascot, the FORM has been thrown out of the window, with the exception of VAUBAN, my BANKER of the whole meeting, won 3/4 group ones over the jumps, ran against the three all time great hurdlers, Constitution Hill, Honeysuckle, and Stage Man between them winners of more than 20 group 1s, VAUBAN was absolutely thrown in. I got 2/1 then it was heavily backed. It was almost a stone in hand against a bunch of second rate handicappers, and duly sluiced home. What saddens me as over the last year, there has been many many winners, some 300/1, 200/1, 150/1 and many many more, with ABSOLUTELY NO form whatsoever, many of them tailed off in previous races, with no excuses, we learn there was ABSOLUTELY no enquiries into the running of any of these horses, which stinks of CORRUPTION
