People often miss that because traditional WRGB OLED panels need the white pixel to boost brightness, the brighter the image, the less saturated the colours get. In comparison QD-OLED does not suffer from this reduction in saturation at higher brightness. Currenty using an LG C6, and also have a 2021 Frame tv and I hope this pushes for more competition with LG and forces them to improve as well!
Would love a thicker version with design like the frame specifically to make room for a heatsink, and allow for clean mounting with the one connect box. Maybe next year! Obv wouldn't use oled with art mode tho
Ive been running my S95B for a couple weeks now. My only complaints are the following
The OS is slow, hoping a update will smooth this out.
I notice when using Peak Brightness setting on medium there is a good amount of flicker from the dimming it does while watching SDR content on Hulu. I noticed this wont happen with the setting off, or on High.(Unless my panel has an issue which I am trying to determine) Theres a AVS forum post that points this out when playing Forza or GT7 in HDR, but I have not personally witnessed this in HDR.
The remote, I am not a fan of. That would change if it had a dedicated input select button, having to hit the home button any time I want to switch to PS5 or Xbox is a bit annoying.
I also noticed it has quite a bad sound delay when using it with my Vizio 5.1 sound bar system. No change of settings both on TV or the Bar could fix this no matter what type of connection I used. But I find the internal speakers to be fantastic on their own due to having Dolby Atmos built in.
You should compare the new Samsung QN95B to the Samsung S95B since they will be selling the QN95B's here in the USA soon !
great revieuw. But i dislike the foot.. and realy do not like the Tizen software.. I will wait for the sony Xr65a95k that will come in a month or two.. Until then i am happy with my xr65a90j
Stick with my 77” LG c1 oled I got for $2500.
Great video, still don't trust Samsung build quality though, been burnt too man times before. Will be interesting what happens to OLED development over the next few years.

Just got mine this morning and been playing some Netflix, Prime Video, Direct TV which those all look great. Bright Vivd, excellent contrast definitely step up from my Sony A8H, but probably not night and day but an improvement for sure by overall brightness and contrast, shadow detail is impressive. But then put in a 4k HDR movie and hold one, OMG. Watched "Ghost in the Shell" and was blown away by that movie, have never seen it look like that before. The colors were something to behold. The smallest of details like catch lights in the eyes on close up face shots bring whole new level of realism to the picture unlike anything I ever seen. After watching 4K movies with this there is no way I could ever go back to a traditional WRGB OLED. Samsung you rock, QD OLED is the future for now anyway.

I have had a discussion with my buddy. He has an under €1000 tv and recently have a 2nd around €2500 Sony oled tv. In the Netherlands (dont know in usa) pretty much all tv programs except football and F1 are broadcasting in 1080p, also around 95% of Netflix and Disney Plus etc is on 1080P. According to my bud the difference of quality is little to none. I would love to see a comparison with an under €/$ 1000 and with an Oled and/or QD/Qled etc tv and showing this on 1080P.
