Hey Kit. Gotta a potential car warranty scam for you to investigate. I got some flyer in the mail that shows a picture of my exact make/model/year car. It even shows my vin number (How did they even get this info?). I just got this car 6 weeks ago (certified preowned) and was told by my dealership that its warranty is still active. The postcard says deadline is may 16th and I must call within 5 days. I did some digging, and this totally looks like a scam. The business name says "Athena Protection" but there are 3 remarks on the BBB website that talk about car warranty scams associated with this name. Youtube is not letting me post a number. I even tried spelling the numbers and it keeps getting deleted.

The part with the greed for the bitcoin, and their extreme lack of concern for the old lady would make the perfect short clip to show other just how brutal and callous the scammers can be, an just far they're willing to go.

My gran went to the bank the other day to take out a payment & the bank manager made her stop and get the receipt and looked up the company and everything to make sure it was legit, I wish I knew the man’s name so I could thank him because it’s so easy for older people to fall for stuff like this, I feel safe in knowing those kinds of people exist in the bank and will keep my gran safe
