Scraping Dynamic Sites with Scraper API | Sports Betting Odds

ScraperAPI : “If you are crawling a page that requires you to render the JavaScript on the page to scrape the data you need, then we can fetch these pages using a headless browser. ”

In this video I scrape a sports betting odds site that is predominantly dynamic JavaScript to get the text that I can parse in the usual way with regex or bs4. I show Scrapy and bs4 code. *Note you don’t have to use Python, the API works with other languages, and you can use Windows, Linux or Mac.

Scraper API provides a neat way to do this without using multiple frameworks.

You can also do a full working trial first as well, (unlike some other companies). The trial doesn’t ask for any payment details either so all good! 👍
