Interesting article. I've been studying a lot of Youtube clips for a while now, and I'm about to start trading shortly for the first time. Something I'm not sure on though. I pick a race, say Kempton at 2pm. I identify what type of race it is, such as a Class 5 which I think means it's suitable for swing-trading rather than scalping. Am I supposed to look at each of the individual horses in this race and find out what their current form is? Other than that, I don't really know what preparatory work I should be doing pre-race. Would appreciate it if you could tell me how to get started! Thanks.

Caan, I fkd one of my bets today I played on two horses on one race. I did make a profit however trading with 2 or more horse fkd my hedge and I didn't make the profit I should have done. I only care about the profit so would be Interested if you know why multiple trades affects my hedge
Hi Caan, why is it when i do a back trade the ticks are not the same equivalent value to the lay ticks. Surely this make its MUCH HARDER to make profit when backing horses to trade rather than laying them? Foe Example i back a horse for £100 at 4, the 3 ticks gets me lets say £6 for talks sake! however on the reverse the lay side would show for the same amount of Ticks ticks a loss of like £8 can you explain this extremely annoying feature. Thanks
