Maybe you haven't noticed but most guards in the NBA don't play defense. Luka, Trae, James H. and Steph until the last few years, to name a few. Offense has a higher value in the NBA. That's why you see a lot shooters with big contracts and that's why the Warriors paid him. Poole has solid offensive skills. Even in a down season he was able to increase his ppg and the Warriors needed his scoring this year. In case you hadn't noticed Steph was out for almost 30 games this season and Jordan was his backup. His coach just spoke to a radio station about him earlier today. He says it's crazy that he is so heavily scrutinized but he's a tough kid and he loves working with him. Lastly, if you're going to speak on trading players, be sure to read the new CBA.
It’s going to be hard to trade him – granted he is still young – but from next season he is earning close to if not twice what other sixth men types are earning.
Really don’t get how he is about to be earning more than Wiggins.
