Snowflake Stock Analysis | Is It a Buy?

Our Snowflake stock analysis looks at key metrics for this rapidly growing data warehousing company that’s now decided that generative AI is the way forward. We’re largely dismissing their conversion to the generative AI religion as hype and focusing on how they’ve responded to the recent macroeconomic headwinds. The short answer is that the company continues to fire on all cylinders with strong net retention rates, especially among their largest clients. There’s a lot of room to grow, and they appear to be cozying up to one of their biggest competitors (at least according to Gartner), Microsoft. If you’re holding SNOW stock then this analysis of their recent investor deck is a must-see. If you’re thinking about investing in Snowflake stock, then you’ll be particularly interested in the $SNOW valuation slide.

  1. How does Snowflake rank/compare against Salesforce and MongoDB. I know Salesforce uses Oracle database, and these two platforms seem like the future of what oracle/Salesforce should look like. Are MongoDB and Snowflake direct competitors? I mean…these platforms look like the future of SAAS+new DB system, which will be highly in demand in the future?

  2. Great work as always. A definate buy for me when you send out the 🦇 single. Enjoy those Friday beer/🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺🍺

  3. From removing the dislike button, rate limits, account verifications, scrapping prevention, changing privacy rules, sensors everywhere, seems like everyone has be preparing for data hoarding. Great video as always.

  4. While these might be great companies, nearly none of these tech companies are good stocks to buy. The constant over paying and overpaying and promise of a future will eventually give way. Or the worst case scenario happens. there is no crash, its a sideways death for 20-40 years and you wasted your whole life guessing about a crash or super rally.

  5. PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: Yes, we know that Karp turns water into wine, and that the Palantir platform cures cancer, but this isn't the forum for his disciples to talk about that. It's going to be extremely tough for some of you, but let's keep this conversation focused on Snowflake and what's being discussed in this video. Want to talk about all things Palantir? You might want to check out the 378 different Palantir-only YouTube channels out there, or the videos/articles we produced on the topic. This isn't one of them.
