Tacoma Fox 2.5 Coilover Tune & Spring Swap

In this video we custom valve a set of Fox 2.5 Coilovers for a Toyota Tacoma and replace the coil springs to a heavier rate.

AccuTune Offroad Tuning Process:
Prior to revalving the shock, one of our Sales Team Members will work closely with the customer on how they want their truck to perform on and off-road. Once we gather enough information from the customer and confirm the shocks needed, we will calculate the best spring rates and shock valving for their truck.

Spring rates will be calculated based on the amount of added weight to the truck. After the spring rates are confirmed, we will review and recommend one of our OEM shock tunes based on how the customer drives their truck mostly. If the truck is a daily driver that sees occasional off-roading, our Adventure Tune will be a great option. For those looking to go off-road more frequently and drive more aggressively, our Dual Sport Tune may be a better fit. If you have a more dedicated off-road truck that is built to hit the desert hard, our Trail Tune may be better suited for your application. Each of these tunes provide us with a baseline and we will make adjustments as needed. The shock tunes we’ve developed over the years come from a lot of experience testing our own vehicles and tuning off-road race cars. Countless hours have been spent testing new valving that ultimately provide our customers with the best performance possible. Once the spring rates & tuning data have been calculated and the sales order is complete, the order gets sent to the back for the Assembly Team to build.

The consultation and tuning services we provide is something we include free to most of the shocks we sell. The only shocks we would not be tuning are IFP (Internal Floating Piston) shocks.
