Bobsledding just started.
Our team is too small. Especially the Lbs. And I know there's not much we can do about that. But beyond that, I don't feel like our team is working hard enough. I feel like they could be bigger and stronger as a whole. I KNOW they can be more aggressive. You see how Miami came out vs the Gators. They didn't execute well, but they came out fired up hitting hard, gang tackling, an overall fire to win. Kept there wits about them and showed tenacity in the face of adversity. Willie Taggarts team is the complete opppsite.
2018 Coach Taggart said after the 4th game we have the right players in place on the OL? 5-7. 2019 now it`s the defense! 0-1! All so called experts say the Noles have "GREAT TALENT" if that`s so Why were they blown out in 4 games last year? This team was not competitive against Clemson,NC St.Gators(AHHHHHH) an a fair Canes team!!

This upcoming game will be telling about our team…. Let's see if our players respond accordingly to the lost or debacle last week. Who are we really?? Too early to say but going forward I see change coming? I'm not sure how or when or who? It's not a easy fix but change has to happen. It's only the beginning of the season working out the kinks but small room for errors…… slim to none. It’s coaching more than anything. Good coaching is building what you do around what you have. You can’t force your scheme on players that don’t fit it. We’ve had guys like Corey Simon, Eddie Goldman, Timmy Jernigan. We’ve never run a 3-4. I thought Barnett was a bad hire in the first place. The athletes in the big 10 are not the same as what he sees now. There’s no way around it. He has to go. We’re not physical. They’re way too many bust in coverages. Everything is wrong on defense. There are so many more things I can say. Go Noles
You need to have at least 1 coach up in the box on offense & defense. You can see the field better. That’s a fix. Sorry but that’s on Taggart to execute. Last year Barnett went from the field up to the box because this is were he was most comfortable. Why change? Go back to 4-3 slant stunt your DL & LB gap protect. That’s a fix. Secondary stop playing so much zone coverage. That’s a fix. Practice kickoff return & punt return blocking schemes & utilize special teams as an advantage & stop being conservative with fair catches. That’s a fix. As Herm Edwards famous statement goes “We play to win the game.”

On third down, switch a LB for a DB to cover in space and one that have the ability to read the run also. That will help eliminate WRs beating a LB in coverage and takes away an option for the QB
Harlon needs to stop playing player out of position. If your a safety play safety not Line backer we have to many lbs to have to put a player in a position he is really not good at playing.
Maybe, just maybe the talent on this team isn't as good as everyone thought it would be? This is the second year with mostly the same players making the same mistakes or just plane just getting beat by their man. In my opinion I don't think it has anything to do with the coaching. I think its all about the talent on the field.
Boise st gave FSU 14 points, briles offense averages about 17 points when they play a well coached team, look up that stat.

We need to go back to a 4-3 are linebackers can't handle a 3-4 at least not and it looks like to me the one linebacker number 5 didn't want to tackle a couple of times you can't have that also I think we need to play more man to manI'd like to see us run the ball more often and makes no sense we have to five star running backs in the backfield I think we clean up our offense and defense against ULM and I think we're going to have a pretty decent season we're going to make a bowlit seems like this is a different caliber of players they don't point the fingers at each other they go out there and try to fix their mistakes and it seems like they know and see what they're doing especially when you can see it on tape now and can work to fix it.
