  1. yes she has improved no doubt about that. But there’s a lot of EQs and semi-tuning that process her current live vocals. Don’t get me wrong, I know that even big vocalists such as Ariana and Mariah do it too but it is an important factor that is part of the equation in her evolution. Especially on the ERAS sound settings. Just the reverb is so strong, it sounds she’s belting vocals in an auditorium. Reverb is why ppl sound great in the shower. (PS : I’m a vocals producer)

  2. Y’all gotta also realize in some of these older clips she was going through an ED this she wasn’t able to support the notes properly.

  3. Taylor Swift started her career at 16 years old and despite starting at such a very young age, her delicate voice was really enjoyable back then but now she just really matured and her voice aged like fine wine. Gotta admire her improvement! ♥

  4. She has improved so much and this is the reason why Taylor version albums are better and more pleasant.. the Originals are beautiful and nostalgic but TV is so much better

  5. im a vocalist and vocal teacher and im only a year or two younger than taylor– when she used her speaking voice in the recent version of never getting back together you can hear her voice is much deeper now — that also happened to me, like a whole octave deeper and people get confused about my gender on the phone sometimes. i sing true contralto, from an alto starting range as a teenager…. i have a lot more respect for her after this, tbh. i used to be really into her as a teenager when she first started releasing music, bc i was starting to write my own songs at that time. i fell off for a while, but i have respect for anyone who actually cares about improving their art. that really does mean something about them. like it shouldnt be rare but it is rare for artists to care, especially popular ones.

  6. She has said that she took lots of voice lessons after being criticized for her singing. If you want proof that vocal training works (if you put in the work), here it is.

  7. Im actually really sad i missed her eras tour. I’m a college student and i don’t have any money to see her. Her concert tickets are 800+ dollars :(. Sad because she’s my favorite artist and I’ve been listening to her since 2012 💔💔💔💔

  8. im not going to lie she is heavily autotuned but that only “covers” so much that being said. she has become such a STRONG singer it’s absolutely incredible she’s always been a good singer but as she grows she just gets better and better!!

  9. Even though she’s wildly successful. I never thought of her as this unreal , jaw dropping strong singer. Honestly, I don’t think she’s known for her voice. She doesn’t have to. Her songs are unique and relatable. Everyone is different and she’s great the way she is.

  10. damn red era was rough, she became so good tho,i think latter half of 1989 is when she got noticeably better

  11. Wow i never realized but those "take me home" notes in the Eras version are SO resonant and smooth now compared to before

  12. Her strength and clarity in her current performances is not only such an improvement and just phenomenal on it's own, but its also so satisfying to hear. It sounds effortless and just gorgeous.
