  1. Its funny that the company i work for wants these when they arent willing to perform maintenence on electric/manual pallet jacks or hand carts. they cant be bothered to have even 50% of a workforce to perform efficently, while taking in billions in profit. The straw on the top of the chain has ballooned that much. Most corpotations are just as lacking in awareness, making these robots useless tech in six months to a year working in any slightly dusty area doing repetive tasks because "whats maintenence?" Slurp, slurp.

  2. Love Tesla Bot !!
Cant wait to see dirt cheap ripoffs from chyna conquering the world in a few decades !!

  3. Please give me a chance; the more I see the more I want to be a part of all that President @ElonMusk and his wonderful teams are building in the universe; @Tesla is an example of this! President @ElonMusk love you more than anything!

  4. Please make aTesla Bot series where humanity can month over month see what Optimus is learning and capuble of doing. We are in the age of robots now. Let us be part of its first steps and its maturing. Even if it will be maybe very small steps in the beginning.

  5. considering how big and bulky Atlas (boston dynamics humanoid bot) needs to be to move quite freely.. i wonder what the Tesla bot can actually do and what's the most useful application it'll have? from the video, i assume movement and agility will be pretty limited and for that, will it be just another Asimo that'll get abandoned later?

  6. These soldering irons suck, get your guys metcal MX-5200's. Hako is horrible, the right soldering iron can have a huge impact on quality especially with large ground planes and such on boards

  7. Is this team looking at making a smaller, quieter, cooler running air compressor? Would be cool in Cybertruck for suspension etc.

  8. I look forward to seeing these robots on the first flights to Mars tasked with constructing the infrastructure needed to support human habitation. They'd be pretty handy in space as well – especially with garbage collection.

  9. this cant ever end good for human race. EVER. More problems, more conflicts, more resource wasting. More superficial society. And for what? So we can "enjoy our life" more? Give me a fucking break. We are way too early into this era. 500 years from now, I would feel different, if we actually had some plan to start behaving intelligently as a race. But we do everything, BUT THAT.

  10. I would LOVE to work for Tesla. Working with so many other talented engineers, designers, and tool makers would be incredible.

  11. Tesla bot will suprice people. It wont be perfect anytime soon. But it will be impressive and perhaps even useful sooner then people expect.

  12. I drive a concrete and I think I could mess around with that robotic stuff. I'll do it for $250k/year. Call me!

  13. Send some of these people over to Tesla Solar. My setup has been inoperable for three months. Two days of operation – the day the technician was out. In the morning the panels send a signal to the inverter but the inverter doesn't start. If I turn the inverter on and off it will work for that day only. Now on second problem ticket wait for a tech to be scheduled. Owner of Model 3 and Starlink. I love those but hate this.

  14. I expected robots in 2023 are made of organic like parts not the same mechanical parts as 30 years ago.

  15. I'm so jealous I could shit green poop! At 68 i'm too old to apply for a job at Tesla. I've been inventing combination digital/analog electric race car controllers since I was 10 yrs old. I have a few patents, but 0 business connections so that went nowhere. These guys are really doing great creative stuff and getting paid for it!!! I can't imagine how happy these guys are all day long! ULTRA FINE LINEAR ELECTRIC MOTORS, guys. Get good at making those. You can stack them like human muscle cells! Mylar magnetic tape should get your brains going. Get as much plastic into those robots as you can. The stuff modern hand tools are made of.
