The 2023 Audi e-Tron Chronos Is An Electric SUV That Puts Comfort & Luxury First

Around 4 years ago, Audi introduced their first-ever fully dedicated electric vehicle called the #Audietron. It had all the luxury and tech you’d expect from Audi, but it didn’t quite have the range and the acceleration EV buyers expected from other brands like Tesla. For 2023, the #etron gets a bit more range but expect the upcoming heavily revised #Q8etron to rectify some of the flaws of this original model.

  1. Happy Friday everyone! We just wanted to quickly clarify, we filmed this video BEFORE Audi announced the big refresh on this model, including the name change to Q8 e-tron for 2024. We should be getting our hands on one sometime next year so expect an updated review then! Hope everyone has a great weekend!

  2. Can you charge both sides at the same time in order to reduce charging time?
I'm not a fan of black wheels on any car. I think it needs something to break up all the black.

  3. We love our e-tron (2019) but it seems this 2023 version doesn't add anything to the one from 4 years ago. Also, Audi's dealerships have become worst and worst over the years in their service departments. They have had our car for 1.5 months for a minor repair. So a word of warning for anyone getting one of these

  4. Did Audi fix the chattering wipers? $70k USD and I have worse wipers than a Toyota Corolla 😅

  5. 220 miles for $80,000+ just doesn’t cut it anymore. Considering that’s the optimal range, I worry how it fares in cold temps. My commute is pretty substantial, granted it’s not 200 miles a day but it’s annoying to charge minimum every other day. Audio sure charges a premium but the money doesn’t seem to go into the range.

  6. I have a 2019 e-Tron "First Edition" and it has been a phenomenal vehicle…probably the best I've owned. It is a very comfortable-riding vehicle, luxurious inside and the fit & finish leaves the other electric car competition in the dust. All this with no maintenance. It's been a joy to own.
The one drawback for me is range. Although Audi has improved it over the past few years on newer models, my 2019 gets 190-200 miles per charge which is no problem for daily driving, but inconvenient on long trips.

  7. this seems like a fine car, obviously being an audi it holds high standards. the fact that it isn’t a performance car and yet still doesn’t break 300 miles of range just doesn’t compare with competitors unfortunately. love all the technology but in a world focused on range anxiety and making a switch to electric vehicles this one seems to have failed.

  8. AFAIK, Audi doesn't have remote start features because of regulations on safety. This was the case for my 2023 Q5. I don't know if this applies to electric vehicles.

  9. Very rare you get the same material from the dash on the door panel. I love that because it actually has enough padding to make resting arm comfy. Usually it’s so thin it’s kinda useless

  10. I owned 2022 version, comfort level is definitely superb, Tesla is not even close, only downside is space

  11. Again and again MY TESLA MY TESLA MY TESLA, why are you not posting videos only about your Tesla,i lost interest from now watching your videos cos of your Tesla which you keep repeating a million times in each video

  12. I recently got a low mileage 2019 Prestige e-tron for a great price, that’s over $10k less than the GV60 Performance. I have to say, I absolutely love it. Most comfortable car I’ve ever had. Comparing it to a Tesla is like chalk and cheese. The Tesla Model Y I had was far quicker and hard a better range. But this is so much more luxurious and comfortable, and more than quick enough, that it’s a clear winner fully my needs. I don’t know if I’d say the same though if I had paid it’s full price as you had yours optioned. But it’s worth considering a low mileage 2nd hands one.

  13. Great review. You did mention how fast the e-tron can recharge (150KW), but missed one of its best charging attributes. That attribute is that the charge curve will run at 150KW, or close to it, for most of the charge time. Most other EVs may charge faster but not for most of the charge time.

  14. Anything under 300mi range is lackluster. These lithium ion batteries start degenerating within a year by up to 10%. Range still go all the way down to 150 by year 3 or 4.

Not worth your $. For a 95Kwh battery, it's terrible.

  15. It's hard to imagine future versions of this and the non-sport model they already look so futuristic. Love it. most people dream about owning cars but can't afford it because they undermine online passive income.

  16. In Europe the Q8 E-Tron is available with the new 104 kWh. And it charges faster. Should be a big improvement. Alas the kept the unsafe all touch screen ergonomics.

  17. Love the style, the fact it has a spare tire, the size (assuming it’s close to the RX350), the interior. Nice car but that range…. the range sucks! These EV’s need to compete or exceed the petrol cars for range. I should get a minimum of 500-600kms of range…. especially given the bloody charge time!

  18. I keep hearing the word slow…slow…slow it's a 5 sec-ish SUV lol it's not slow. Not all cars need Tesla 0-100 in 3 secs unlimited torque
