im a blazers fan and this makes no sense this just shows youre lack of knowledge for basketball, why would the blazers spend 15 million more dollars for a slightly better but younger center who cant score on his own very well, and they lose their best defender prolly on their team in josh hart, and a first round pick as an asset, please tell me how that makes sense

The Blazers keep the 7th Pick and take Mathurin. They trade Nurkic and their 36th Pick for the 13th, 15th Pick and Plumlee. The Blazers select Sochan and Tari Eason (if they are still availible to get some Defense).
The Horents get their Center in Nurkic and an early Secondrounder.
Then the Blazers trade Plumlee and the Milwaukee Pick for Mo Bamba.
The Magic get at least a Firstrounder and also can flip Plumlee for something decent.

Trade half the roster for ayton then….? We lack a pf and sf. We don’t have money after that. I just doubt Portland could go “win now” with 4 players (lillard, simons, little, ayton) better to keep Nurk and swing for a Pf while drafting at 7.

As a suns fan i would accept any ayton for nurkic trade in an instant. But im not sure how realistic it would be to get ayton and give up three starters? Everyone would say trade the pick but honestly, dyson daniels is what we need. But if not we have so much depth i feel like we could trade for another all star.
