No Formula 1 car has ever been measured going as quickly on an F1 circuit as Valtteri Bottas in his Williams FW38. Back in qualifying for the 2016 European Grand Prix at Baku City Circuit, the Fast Finn was measured by his Williams team travelling at a truly astonishing 378 Kph, or 234.9 Mph!

  1. Pretty amazing with 2000kg of downforce. I think we'll see this record matched and maybe broken in Vegas. Also, didn't Jenson drive an F1 car with no rear wing in the middle of no where once? 250mph?

  2. Ah, the solid colored barriers. Before EVERYTHING had a sponsor smeared all over it. Simpler times.

  3. Well who would've thought that top speed is not all that matters in F1, that car really did not have the braking power nor the downforce to make it quick in the corners.
