The Miami Marlins Just Got FLEECED

The Miami Marlins and Minnesota Twins just made a blockbuster trade that saw Pablo Lopez and Luis Arraez get shipped. These are big mlb stars getting swapped. The Miami marlins also sent over some of their top prospects as well, which might have been a bit of an overpay. So what do you think, was this a fleece by the Twins?

  1. Don't really care about this trade, but there goes the Jays 5th starter. God, if I see Kikuchi or White come out on the mound this season in the Top or bottom of the 1st inning, I REFUSE TO WATCH that particular game. Come on Atkins, Shirapo, you've done a GREAT JOB this off season just fill that #5 starter dumpster fire and make all us Jays fans more confident in your "win now" mentality 🤘🤘🤘🙏🙏🙏

  2. The Pirates trade for Chris Archer was a fleece. This one is fair. Solid rotation guy for the Twins, which the Marlins had a surplus of. The Marlins get a Silver Slugger Award winner who can get on base and create RBI opportunities, and will only get better without the shift.

  3. Definitely a higher chance that this works out better for twins.. however none of the guys in this deal move the needle that much…yet

  4. Lopez had a 3.7 era last year, not bad but certainly not elite. In a contender probably a 4/5 maybe a 3 at best. In a rebuilding team he’s maybe a 2 at best.

  5. fleece job for sure. Arraez has no power, cant play defense, only thing he can do is hit grounders at a high clip (and done so for only a season or 2) for a #2 pitcher, a very solid prospect and another prospect. twins shouldve been the ones sending prospects. Marlins fans will keep calling for Kim Ng's firing
