Hi, my name is Tina and I’m a data scientist at a FAANG company. I was pre-med studying pharmacology at the University of Toronto until I finally accepted that I would make a terrible doctor. I didn’t know what to do with myself so I worked for a year as a research assistant for a bioinformatics lab where I learned how to code and became interested in data science. I then did a masters in computer science (MCIT) at the University of Pennsylvania before ending up at my current job in tech 🙂

The zetamac score 75, what was the time duration?
Is there no programming involved at all ? Since you have to make mathematical models, aren't you expected to devise those models with some financial knowledge + programming abiliites.

Hi, I left a comment on another one of your videos. I am interested in using modeling to trade. My education is in mathematics and economics, but I have struggled with probability, linear algebra and other math subjects for years. I can grasp the concept of market strategies but when it comes to modeling the mathematical techniques go over my head. Could you do more videos like this. Thank you.
Are there tricks to get a high score on arithmetic zetamac or is it just practice? I am an Economics graduate but I can't seem to get higher than 10 lol (I've only attempted maybe 6/7 times)

I’m in my first year of university studying math in Germany and this video is really helpful. I’m already practicing for job interviews like this and my high score at zetamac is 87 at the moment. I also recommend the book “50 challenging problems in probability” to practice probability brain teasers!
