The poison necromancer, one that I’ve called the lazybones in the past, is a poison nova build that is based around great area of effect damage, and having an army to support you along the way.

  1. Ah counter a bug with a bug. Or they could fix the 20+yr old game.. How about some skele mages that do damage. Perhaps in 2040 we might one day see it in D2RR

  3. Psn necros don’t need to focus on fcr at all I take it? That’s good I’m tired of trying to hit breakpoints with gear while keeping resists up and all that jazz lol. I’m ready for a chill char

  4. unless this has been changed, points into bone wall increase the defense of bone armor more than points into bone armor does.

  5. If you rerolled later on, say beginning of hell how would your point distrubution be? Max nova + skele and golem + 1 point in curses?
    Im struggeling once I rerolled. Cuz im hella new

  9. love the coverage of this build, it is probably my favorite ladder starter as though expensive in chase gear the starter builds are almost gear agnostic. For the Necro in general Bone is a quick and safe game clear, summons gets you started farming TZs early, and Poison offers the crazy AOE to bring you well through endgame. If we see any changes to Cold mastery in 2.6 this is going to be a really compelling option for starting S3.

    an alternative to the skelly build is to run Mastery over Skellies as your hard points in an attempt to build up the utility of your revives. there are enough non-physical revives out there that you can run LR and play into the elemental side of the build. Personally I would love to see some changes to Fire Golem and Mages for 2.6 as I'm really interested in a element-focused Necro build; though, we will have to wait till the new year to see about that.

  11. How is teley stomp an ishu/bug.. I personally think is normal. I here spamming fear and tely stomping ubers is on of the fastest killers out there.

  12. Make a bone necro guys. Cheapest to make and also the best generally except for niche situations. All you need is a good white runeword and the basic +skills/fcr gear. Summoner is reliant on Enigma, and poison trash build needs Enigma even more + Dweb which is like half another enigma right there.

  13. Nice video, but the poison build is still trash in most cases. It is the most expensive of the builds, while also being the least safe. The damage potential is huge, but only if you don't use minions OR use teleport to keep them out of the way. In multiplayer, you're worthless, since everyone else's damage will cancel your own. Both summoner and bone will kill bosses faster, and when fighting bosses with this build, you're basically just a poorly geared summoner anyway. The only thing this build does better than the other builds, is SOLO farm high player count games. If no other players or minions are canceling your damage, it's great. But if you like to play with people, it's trash.

  14. How many base points do you put into the skills above poison nova, like poison dagger as they have synergy to nova?

  15. Have you played this build from ladder start? How does it feel without dweb or enigma? Is it a viable early game farmer?

  16. Thank you for pointing this out! You still need to lower enemy res with a sunder charm, these charms do not solve all your problems.

    Also, for new players, the minus resistance on the sunder charm is separate from the sunder effect.

  17. I max corpse explosion and put 1 point wonders into all summoning skills and rely on revive rather than skeletons. Extra points into amplify damage for range. With corpse explosion maxed and amplify damage radius high, its easy to use 1 amplify damage and blow up entire big rooms of enemies. Also Infinity is good for the 50% fire damage portion of corpse explosion.
