Lost Ark’s botting issue is actually becoming a problem. Regions like NA West are struggling with large queue times. Items such as Legendary Grudge are becoming unattainable while player numbers are surpassing 800,000. The purpose of this video is simply to spread awareness of the issue and offer insight. If you are experiencing any these issues and want to resolve the bot situation, please share this video with a friend. 1. The queues didn't make me quit. Seeing a shartload of bots running around everywhere was driving me nuts. So I decided to go fish.

There were 30+ bots stacked on each other, casting nonstop. Awful, because I was enjoying this game.

  2. Tried playing again today and every single player I saw had some name like alsdkngqlegknaad mindlessly running around, not fun.

  3. wait why are they selling tthing sfor hundreds of thousands? Is that to transfer their money around on different characters?

  4. Why dont thye just stop people from making names with tons of random letters and shit?

QUESTION: Does it help to report these bots sometimes? I report some of them if I see a big train of them – and I spawn camped a few of them on a PVP island recently – for a WHILE lol XDD wish their gear would break.

  5. i noticed that on many places i find players what have random names like "jfkanjmeqnoikvbm" and "jfjnencowsjfgophgjfd" obviously spamed

  6. The first thing you need to find out is how the bot works. Do the users pay for bot time from a particular company? Do users who pay for the bot time ever get banned? If they pay, and are safe than I guarantee that the publisher is behind the bot company. SilkRoad Online did this about 20 years ago. Joymax, the publisher of SilkRoad Online, was behind the bot company. People who paid for bot time were never banned. You are functioning on the premise that the developer isn't profiting from the bots. If they are/can, than you wasting your time. I know it's hard to believe that companies can do this, I was shocked when I found out the truth behind the bots of SRO. My advice, do a deep dive on the bots. Make an alt account, pay for time, and see how the bot works. In SRO they sold time and gave people a 'special client'. Running a hashsum on the 'special client' verses the official client yielded an exact match. That's how I knew that bots would never, ever go away, as Joymax was profiting from them. Good luck Stoopzz.

  7. And SmileGate/Amazon decided that the best way to fight it was to fuck the player anyway… Now it's not F2P anymore
Can't trade with friend if I don't spend money neither send email…
Now I have mats to give to my friend that I farmed for months and can't give them because they say my account is not trusted…
I love this game but I'm really getting tired of this BS

  8. Tampering with the game should be an IP ban. Steam Charts show only 9k concurrent players including bots.

  9. Experience as a new player that arrived later in the game, I found myself pushing T1 and T2 always alone. Nobody at Chaos Gates, nobody at Field Bosses, right up to Feiton where bots would always run Chaos Gates. I was so relieved and took advantage of them. I really wish that T1 and T2 events were all doable alone, with difficulty scaling down to accomodate the attendance.

  10. the game should reward players for successfully reporting a bot. like 100 gold for every bot you report. then set up a "are you a bot" system like they do on websites. ik it may be hard but i just started this game 2 weeks ago and ive seen more bots then real players. its ridiculous

  11. I've bought gold 7 times because it's just easier than the cash shop bs that they have set up. No warnings/bans so far. I'm sure it's coming eventually.

  12. Just installed today and I think bots were stealing my quest mobs? When I would go AFK for a few minutes to check my phone, there would be audio spam of bots using the Tripgate or whatever they are called. I was hooked on the game until I realized there were no actual players around me. Now I am looking for a new game.

  13. i dont understand the auction part? is it trapping people to waste there gold or cheater buying with millions of gold?

  14. I saw 20 or more bots SYNC their movement at the same time, and it's clearly someone (a person) was playing them because they ran away then played the Song of Return as soon as I got closer and took a pic.

  15. I've been leveling on NA West and holy shit. It's like for every one actual person I see playing there are at least 30 bots in the mix. That's such a shit ratio and it really makes the leveling not fun. Luckily the combat is still as great as ever in this game. I wouldn't be able to play this if it weren't for the sound mechanics. It's a shame that they are relying on periodic ban waves instead of implementing a long term solution that benefits those who simply want to enjoy a great game.

  16. I just made my second alt and just received my first mount. I sat here at Prideholme next to the NPC to acquire your first mount and in 5-minutes, 50+ bots mounted up for the first time. Hmmm, you think you could code something for this location to smash them before they even get anywhere? The issue is internally and they are fighting externally. Not going to get anywhere with that.

  17. Idk, it's looks like bots causing login queues issues fixed on NA West for the last week. No login queues at the very least lol

  18. Never thought I’d be worried when an mmo has really high numbers. I try to do my part in reporting any bots in chat but I didn’t know just how bad it was. Also wow, people buying useless tier 1 accessories for 6 almost 7 digits, my first thought was “are you people retarded?” I understand there may be a difference in knowledge of the game but this is a new level. Thanks for the info.

  19. Oceanic player on NA West, Valtan. I quit after I started getting queues far far after the game launched and all I ever saw was trains of teleporting bots in every zone.

  20. yeah i had to stop playing this game there were just too many factors that turned me off and bots were one of them.

  21. I quit because of the bots, I'm sick of seeing them, I'm sick of reporting them by the thousands, and I'm sick of grinding to pay over 800 gold for 95 crystals.

  22. @Stoopz where did you get the mokoko head that sits on your PC. I cannot find anything like it! Is there a site where i can purchase one? Keep up the awesome vids. Loving the Sharpshooter because of your streams!

  23. Unfortunately I moved on from this game because when I voiced concern about this in the forums they banned me instead of the bots.. sooo

  24. If they offered mats, gold, or other items for sitting in north Vern reporting bots for an hour a day I’d do it every single day lol. I get people would troll real accounts but there are ways to keep those trolls in check. I really think if you offered in game loot for reporting bots, it would make those “low hanging fruit” bots way harder to get away

  25. Someone actually posted I tried to bait those bots I sold some tier 1 for thousands of gold LOL, b*llSht

  26. I was a new player to Lost Ark and was looking for a new MMO to main. I really enjoyed the game, but after about a week or two the queue times went up to around 20-30 mins. This isn't terrible on its own, but after waiting that long, its a little disappointing to get into the world and just see bots running back and forth, or stuck running in place on a teleporter. The game barely feels like an MMO, I feel strangely alone on a game with a player base this large. I dropped the game because of this.

  27. Only reason I can think of for not punishing RMT, is that it's Amazon themselves that is selling them the gold through a 3rd party. Otherwise why let it continue? it only hurts Amazon's profits. Whales or not, what's the point of keeping them around if most of the money they spend is going somewhere else and costing you other players. Doesn't make any sense.

  28. Dude i predicted the launch delays, server issues and future content redistribution two months before the game got released. 🙂 have it all on a screenshot. Back in the day WoW had GM's patroling the game online 24/7

  29. buddy forgot to mention that he has been stocking up and hoarding bot farmed fish lol. he wants to ban fishing so his millions of fish goes up in price 100x love to see it man keep up the grindset

  30. every f2p game has bots?
not really. both mail ru and korea lost ark have quite few bots. they are not running rampant. and no qs.
just accept the truth that AGS kills every game it touches.

  31. Amazing video! The truth is that Amazon doesn't care. Even though they are losing money because of this. Not only potential cosmetic sales, but all of these RMTers could just buy gold from Amazon and avoid any negative consequences. It is clear that people don't care how p2w this can get because the game is pretty popular. It really is not an impossible problem to figure out.
