  1. Arguably one of the most accurate and real videos I've seen about this business. Trading has been tainted by social media. Thank you for your work my friend.

  2. Ha, I thought what's this rubbish and THEN I listened and he is absolutely spot on. I think maybe you have to go through that to come out the other end. So much time and energy at the start for years, so many mistakes. The MIND!!! such a hard thing to overcome. If you survive which is very hard but if you do, I go to the gym/swimming/reading and paint. Its definitely harder to meet someone as well that will fit into the lifestyle.

  3. Yeahhhh, as a full time trader, it gets depressing 😅 not much social life
Staying up late, waking up early looking at charts, drawing zones
Also made me look at money differently, even if I was making millions with trading, the most luxurious purchase I would make is a Tesla to self drive… so I can trade in the car 😳

  4. On a good day you might be done with your trades within an hour or so lol…..making more money in a hour than you would make in a week at 9-5….that's why I love it

  5. Retail mindset lol , there are always stocks to be picked to be traded if you can manage. The markets are ever changing so you could improve every day , the market is like a gym the most beefed up guys are there longer but look significantly bigger then the average gym guy.

  6. Excellent advice. I am 4 months into my trading journey and I have a well paid job. I visualise not working and trading full time but your absolutely right. Keep the salary and build the trading account as a side hustle. Much more secure. Thanks for your insights and sharing your experience.

  7. Your absolutely spot on pal. All trades need to understand this first there are many other obstacles you need to over come before you get anywhere. It’s all about the physiology.

I learn the hard way like most do and have been slapped in the face many times. It’s a difficult business to be In but can be very rewarding when you keep it simple and good risk management is also key 🔐

    Respect bro 😎

  8. Yeah man, I have been trying to be a trader for a living for 20 years and I still blow up accounts. It is so hard! I have been seeing a therapist for 6 years to help me get in the right mindset for it. I paper traded January like a boss, put in real money in February and blew it up in a week.

  9. I think being able to do it full-time also has to do with income needs. Some people can get by on only $100.00 a day, others need $200 and yet others $600…… I've been fairly profitable myself, but I think I do it differently than others #1, I never ever take more than 3 trades a day and each trade is generally held no more than 10.00 minutes. I only do SPY and since I only trade 1 to 3 times a day, I can wait for the best highest probability trades….. One can really get away with just 1 trade a day if they have high enough capital base. 1 trade a day is better because then you can really be picky in terms of high probability setups…. Also I will have those bad days where I have those 2 losing trades in a row(although it doesn't happen often). When that happens I just stop trading for the day. So far I've never had 2 losing days back to back. I think being incredibly picky for high probability setups has made all the difference for me.

  10. I trade during the day and do nightclub security and bartending at night… I'm still learning trading and know I can make it. But having that next income is huge!

  11. Wouldn't trade it for the world, it's better to not have kids or responsibilities as you then have time to d whatever you want and not worry but anything or anyone else. What's the point in having money if y still stuck at home cause of responsibilities? You may as well just kept your 9 – 5

  12. In the process of learning to trade, and this was extremely helpful. To me success means being consistent, the rest is a bonus.I am not working on "making money" I am learning to love the process. Thanks for a great, REAL TALK video.

  13. for me it's time

I don't want to be getting up at 4.30am anymore
i want my wife to be able to not work
i want to go to days out with my children midweek and it not busy

i want my life to slow down and become less frantic trying to win the rat and corporate race

  14. I been in trading for 1 and half year, I quit my job and started learning…. I'm still not a profitable trader, but I'm getting closer day by day…

Also it is true that the less time I spend on chart, the consistant I become 😄😅

  15. Loneliness of the job is very underrated as well. On a daily basis most traders speak more with themselves than with an actual human being. Great video very honest and straight to the point I love it.

  16. Finally some reasonable guy on youtube. So much bullshit fluff on youtube. I'm learning currently and starting to be finally profitable after blowing up my account twice 😀

  17. This is the most important video I've ever watched I need to be able to afford to live on my own next few months so was gonna quit my min wage full time job to be full time trading but I will just work trading around the job thank you so much

  18. Great videos Very subjective topic though depends on the type of trading one does, the capital you start with. I can tell you that scalping markets through CFD with leverage is far more profitable than your average buying shares hoping it raises in x time.

If you can make money on the ups and downs on the market it eliminates the I need the market move 5% etc etc.

With forex for example 1:30 leverage with £5000 in the account I only need 10-20 mins to make £200-300 lol
