This is exactly the same as the Suzuki Swift. The Swift itself was ‘ inspired by the Mini Cooper. This Mini Cooper of 2024 looks inspired by the 2023 Swift. My 2012 Cooper S, is definitely a much better looking car than this new 2024 Mini.
I can try to endure most of it, but those taillights…

I have a mini and don't like the new one. The biggest problem is lack of space that the original was better at for it's size.
Just use the first or second generation body and upgrade with new tech.. 3rd generation while agree on the cool tail lights was too bulky.. Problem with the 1st-2nd generations was the engine specially in S/JCW models after 60.000 km.. This one looks like a disappointment.
This is not the Cooper S! It’s the electric version of the Cooper S, it is the Cooper SE!!

the model that Mini released in the press release in the Electric S – not the ICE (note no exhaust pipe) someone is missleading here…. the next Gen Electric is on an electric platoform – design cues will be similar… but the one shown IS ELECTRIC

You can not beat the original Mini. Its one of the most iconic cars ever. Every mini since has increased in size, like why?
Agreed. Everything better except the wedge rear lights. I’d also question the naming strip which looks a bit ordinary. i.e. un-mini-like. Hopefully it’s a work in progress. Smooth nose and details like the flush door handles combine to cheat the wind and eke out the most mileage for either electric or ice. It’s also a breath of fresh air (no pun intended) after all the scoops, arch extensions and slits of the present car. Nice to see a brand to have the guts to ditch the wing/door detail. I loved it on the DB5 and have seen it evolve at AM but virtually every other manufacturer has it in some shape or form these days and it’s boring. Overall much easier on the eye although to repeat, I hope it’s a beta version. Please try harder😂
I think the new mini on the front really looks lie a fiat 500, onthe back this mini looks loke a suzuki swift, I liked the mini becuase it did not look like a other brand. Mini needs to remodel the new 2025 model
This is the new mini electric not the face lifted ice version of the car, this model is based on the same platform as the Ora Funky Cat (terrible name). The new heavily revised version of the combustion mini has not (as far as I’m aware) been previewed yet. 🎉🎉🎉

Less and less charming. The taillights are terrible. For me the overall design is boring which is precisely the opposite of what mini stands for.
What happen to the rear!?!?!?! omg i mean… did they try to reproduce spiderman's face!?!? or what, i believe they are forgetting the escential design of the MINI, which is "RETRO STYLE" reminiscent to the classic original Austin mini cooper from the 60s, they can't loose it! other wise that design tastes like japanese/korean stuff, which is an insult to the brand and its origins, there is nothing wrong with jap or korean cars, dont get me wrong, but we are are talking about design and heritage here, so it should be a little more restricted so artists which are working in this design dont get to creative and start designing after smoking some weed and forgetting all the escentials of the MINI brand. Just saying…

the whole "smoothing everything else" makes me so saaaaaad ;-; That's why I looooooove what the Korean's are doing- they have so much more spirit and personality compared to other manufacturers.
It’s the Mini Cooper SE. yellow « s » for the electric version . The future cooper S gaz version ( red «s ») would surely differs : bumpers, headlight treatment, exhaust pipes…
