  2. Great video for statistics, unfortunatly with bad timing. Need to do it all again after patch 1.18. A lot of reasons for misbalancing seem to be fixed soon.
    I wonder, if you do this again after the patch is 5-6 months old. I am curious about the differences then.
    But again, great survey and thanks for all the effort you put into the whole thing.

  3. nice, thank you, survey mostly confirmed what I mean about maps. Now it would be interested to look at most hated maps and try give us some advice what to do there ( no need to get advice how to play Himmelsdorf as light) but at some maps some trick would be nice. Cheers baboon king and his job for us

  4. Really excellent job in displaying the data Skill, it was very interesting to see the stats and we all appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos. Most of the ratings I expected, although one stood out to me, people really don't mind playing Studzianki?!?! To me it feels extremely boring and another version of "you push you lose" but hey I guess I'm in the minority. Keep it up Skill <3

  5. Interesting to see that new players actually like the shitty corridor designs I always wondered why WG was so focused on making all the maps into boring hulldown corridors but when most likely the majority of the players actually like it I guess I'll have to play them

  6. Hello Skill, really nice analyses. Could you remove the maps province and widepark from the results (only played by mow tiers) to see what are the best/worst played at hgh tiers ?

  7. Simply amazing. For one, the amount of votes and the depth of the analysis. Really impressive, and your commentary on these maps actually taught me something new (only playing for about 2 months) about almost every single map and class on them. Will have to watch this more than once, though.

  8. I'm surprised to see Empire's Border not be a popular excluded map at all. It's the only map I never remove from my excluded 2 maps, no matter the tank I play.

  10. I really think that you need to at least compute the standard error on your results to check for the statistical significance of your claims, because quite a few times, you comment on the difference between 2 results which are certainly NOT significant statistically speaking.
    Only focusing on statistically significant results (and the maps for which they occur) would allow for a shorter video emphasizing the most clear-cut results.

    Good work anyway, but just a bit more rigor would make it even more blyatiful!

  12. This just shows that open maps are the way to go, all of them scored really high. Corridor maps are good for heavies and some mediums, but all other classes suffer.

  13. Overall, I agree with the results. I despise empire’s border and highway because they are not balanced maps at all imo

  14. Speaking as an arty main – I can see that the Arty preferences have been skewed towards the median by players who rarely play arty and therefore give similar score for both spawns.
    Many of the maps I have a BIG preference for one spawn or the other – and which will be obvious to any experienced arty player – but doesn't show in the statistics.
    Just one obvious example among many…. Lakeville – Stats show less than 0.1 preference towards the North – No, no, no! – The North is FAR superior for arty.. Along the back middle/east of each side there's not much difference, BUT, you can get HUGE games shooting down the valley – yet you can't shoot up the valley without getting detected and countered.

  15. For Studizanki… The reason I can think of why the East spawn scored higher is because of the sniping hill down the K line. That position and the sneaky little push in the middle of K line makes for a better scouting (even 90) and sniping experience than the West.

The empires border southspawn is easyer to play also in the nort corner because from the south you can play hulldown with 8 decrees of gundepression and from north side you need more than 12 to sshoot anything. Its a much easyer play from the south in almost every single angle. Shoking to see how people love province map. I really hate how campy the map is.

  17. Honestly, I dont understand why so many people still play this shit game. I quit playin this game after 10 years and I am feeling so much better without this stupid game. There is nothing good in WoT, no fair play, no balance, no good maps, just nothing. Look at the upcoming Italian TDs, another tier 10 OP hulldown monster shit comming to the game. World of Tanks is shti game, wargaming is shit company. They destroyed the game until 1.0 completely.

  18. skilllllllll the more experienced players enjoy to play with light and fast mediums and that's why they enjoy more the open maps. The maps with good score with light and fast mediums are more liked by them.

  19. WG should take notes. I know that they're Dev's are in different dimension. And think that Airfield is the best map for all tanks. I doubt that anything will change. But still, let's appreciate effort Skill and his team puts in this game.

  20. That new survey took me all of 2 minutes. Why? Because I turned off Assault mode simply because it's impossible to balance. Winning is almost entirely dependent on what map you get and whether you're attacking or defending. It's a shit game mode and I've had it turned off ever since they gave us the option of turning it off.

    New players play more heavy tanks and based on your survey results people like the map more with heavies.

  23. Really interesting as a light i really hate more Empire border and Tundra than Paris, and Himmeldorf is terrible but at least is a fast battle
