The only thing I can say is: after all the trade talks and possibilities I saw during the summer, the fact that they didn't go through makes me think that the Lakers are unwilling to give those two 1st round picks.

Again there is no way that the bulls are giving up that much for Anthony davis. It's not happening. One of his biggest problems is that he cannot guard the central position night and night out. That means that you have to start Andre Drummond next to Anthony an order for that to be effective. Maybe you can get vuc the first round pick and one of ayo or williams
On the Hawks trade it's weird to say they get an elite rim protector. Anthony Davis cannot bang anymore. Clint capella is already a damn good rim protector. He catches lobs also. Not to mention he doesn't miss a lot of games LOL. I'm not saying the trade doesn't make any sense. I'm saying your assessment of how it will help the Hawks is wrong though
