None of these trades would ever be accepted by anyone besides the lakers (and Knicks ig). Any deal with Russ you have to pretty much ignore that heâs in the deal, because the teams arenât trading for him they donât want him the lakers are trading him away to be bought out. So the first one the pacers get two firsts for two players who are probably worth 2 firsts each, the second one the spurs get a first and two seconds for one of the better centers in the league and two role players, they could get more in a deal of just poeltl going somewhere else. And that last one, I mean why would the pacers ever want Julius Randle and even Fournier, two of the worst contracts in the league when theyâre better off again just moving those two players to a team that has actual assets to trade. The Celtics traded a two firsts (a real one and a swap) for Derrick white because they needed a bench player whoâd fit their team. Players who are more valuable than Derrick white include hield, turner, and poeltl.
