Trading Betfair – Good Markets Equals Good Profits

Market Selection is extremely Important, trading markets that are not suitable for your strategy will lead to losses whilst being patient and only trading markets that suit your strategy will lead to bigger long term profits.

Here’s a selection of trades from Fri 18/11/22 that suit my own personal nplay scalping / spike hunting strategy.

  1. Crikey. That last race was somewhat risky. If I had been doing this race like that, Sod's Law that General Probus would have fallen or stumbled at the last and I would have taken a big loss.
Still, enjoy your videos. Lots of useful tips and techniques. Thanks.

  2. Can I ask why you start with £50 on your account, for day trading as usually it wouldn't it be better to have higher liquidity? Or is £50 really all you need to be able to effectively trade in play.?

  3. Awesome, thanks Jay, I learn something new from ever video you post…… TBH I’ve actually learnt more from you for free than all the videos and courses I’ve paid for over the years! Please keep up the good work!

  4. Some ace trades Jay. Just one question. Do you ever put the lay in on the down spike and put the back in manually in the hope of getting more ticks after an overreaction, or do you always use offset settings? I guess offset is a bit quicker and safer.
