1. Great advice Caan. Maybe it could be a good idea to work part time and trade as the first step into trying to trade full time???

2. I am going to start trading full time next year have been trying out couple times a month to get use to it. I just have to save up a nice starting balance first. For my first half year would like to set a target of $2K and progress from there.

4. Hey man, what would a pro gambler say when people ask “what do you do for a living”? If you say “I’m a professional gambler/punter , they will laugh as gambling is conveyed (in Australia ) via drunk old men in bars, families breaking up, loan sharks etc etc .So how would someone go about it the “classy “ and “ sophisticated” way? Would “I am a financial trader” be appropriate? And how would you expand on that in a few sentences without referring to gambling. Thanks

5. I don't see whats the problem in telling an employer that you were a betfair trader… it's quite impressive if anything. And many would be interested in it.

6. Caan you make it seem its easy to make 2000 on a midweek market that is not true . The profits from trading 200 stakes are so so small .So i don't believe you can make two grand easily midweek racing on all weather. I have been gambling 55 years Caann you can't get the market right that easily all you are doing caan is guessing which way the market goes. I don't doubt you are a successful trader but its not that easy most people lose at trading mate

I currently earn around 2K a month with my job, I go on holiday to Thailand 4 times a year because of set holidays at work, I'm now paid off all debt and only have 500 a month to pay out for mortgage bills etc, I'm single no kids and live alone, I have a years worth of bills covered saved in my betfair account, I'm thinking of trading full time 9 months of the year and going away for one holiday but longer period, this way I'm saving loads on flights and can get a long term rent which is cheaper, I will have a betfair pot of 10K and will probably have to make 50 a day 7 days a week for the 9 month, any extra just gets saved, everything on paper sounds perfect can u see any reason not to give it a go? I'm really unhappy at work and been doing well trading since I started but time with work doesn't callow me to do it properly

10. Interesting thoughts. I would regard the CV one as a bit of a non-issue though. Firstly, taking the 'what if you need to go back to a job' approach feels like you're setting yourself expecting to fail with trading. Secondly, I don't see any reason why you can't put yourself down as a sports trader on your CV – there's always ways to dress things up – and if employers ask then you simply find a way to explain what you were doing, and perhaps explain, that while you weren't making enough money from it (if this is why you're seeking employment), that you nonetheless learned and developed many skills through trading, and which an employer may value. Thirdly, if you don't want to discuss trading, you can always include any voluntary work/community work etc you have been doing in your trading period, so it doesn't come over as if you've been doing nothing. Great video though, and pleased to see you're posting more videos.

11. I think it depends also in which country do you live. Living In UK maybe 2-4k it's not a lot of money, but if you make this amount of money and live in countries where average salary is 500-700£ , you can easily go pro 😀
