Wedge has been testing the Rescue Bots emergency response time (and their patience) but when he gets trapped in a mysterious hole will the recruits respond to his call or will he be trapped forever!?!

Five young recruits from Cybertron train to be rescue bots at The Rescue Bots Academy on Earth. Hot Shot, Whirl, Hoist, Medix and Wedge learn the value of teamwork, courage and friendship as they pass simulated and real rescue challenges. Under the guidance of Optimus Prime, Heatwave and Boulder they aim to one day be super heroes in their own right.

Meet the Rescue Bots Academy recruits!
• Hotshot – Hotshot is always looking for a chance to prove himself. Transforms into a Car, Plane and Hovercraft!
• Whirl – Ever the optimist Whirl hopes to be a police bot like her idol Chase. Transforms into a rescue helicopter!
• Hoist – A former repair bot, Hoist isn’t always the most confident but he always tries his best! Transforms into a tow truck!
• Medix – The Rescue Bots Doc-Bot, Medix loves logic and predictability. Transforms into an ambulance car!
• Wedge – While sometimes a bit arrogant, Wedge has a big heart and always tries to do the responsible thing. Transforms into a digger!
