  1. Hi. Thanks for your video. For the apple crumble recipe, can I substitute the apple juice with apple sauce?

  2. i batch cook steel cut oats 1 cup water to 4 cups water in a pan bring it to a boil boil for 1 min shut off the stove let sit over night and i i have oats all week i add raisons chia and tumeric

  3. The prepared garlic in the jar's expiration date is only good until it is opened…once opened it is only good a month or so..

  4. Lucky! Don’t even know where our nearest Costco is, but the first one in Maine is coming in late 2023 or early 2024, and will be almost 6 hours away from where I live.

  5. hello Tami! i bought the mushrooms but the few times i tried them they came out super rubbery and i had to throw them away…:( can you recommend or make some recipes with them?

  6. The book called Fridge Love really gives a lot of good advice about how to store your food in order that it will last as long as possible. It really has helped me in that it’s just my husband and I now. Also most citric acid is derived from corn and grown on fungus in US. There are a few companies that are strong non gmo that get it derived from sugar cane (South America). Europe uses wheat. It’s known as MCA- manufactured citric acid.

  7. I just picked up some of the dehydrated mushrooms at Costco! Questions: When you use them in soup, do you have to rehydrate them first or do you just throw them?

  8. Azure foods look there for bulk oats. Pretty good prices and they are based in oregon state. They also do the eastern side of the U.S. through pick-up points.

  9. I hate it when the plastic police show up. Not everyone has access to stores with a bulk section. I live in a small town in a landlocked state and most of our produce comes in plastic.

  10. Thanks for sharing your shopping run down. I shop the same stores and buy many of the same foods so it is great to get some verification.

  11. Haha my favorite part, about the plastic police… Not trying to change them, just fyi "we're gonna delete your comments". You are both so real and authentic ALL the time. Love it. Blessing to watch and witness your plant powered team <3

  12. Love all of your content. So mad I missed your live. Also miss the Sunday lives, but I totally get it ❤

  13. Amazing amount of great info in this video, so helpful !
Could Tom add any links on other videos on how you store these things in refrigerator and freezers, especially before and after your salad prep😊 Your videos are so super awesome!!!

  14. Tom I see you are not wearing your glasses:; how are your eyes healing and may I ask which cataract surgery you opted for.and would you go that route again? I need to do something shortly and am researching for best option. Thank you for your time . Mary

  15. Thank you Tami and Tom! People love your grocery haul episodes! They are very very informative and entertaining! God bless you and your family! You are such sweet and gentle people!

  16. New vegan here just wanted to say hello and thank you for all your helpful videos. Love the content and your soft and calm demeanor 🙂. Will be binge watching all your videos!

  17. I bought those frozen sweet potatoes recently. I cooked them on the stove top. They do come out very mushy but they taste good.

  18. The “Plastic Police” is such a farce. Unless you’re privileged enough to live on acres of land and have hours to devote to growing your own food, EVERYTHING comes in a package. And at least if you’re buying WFPB produce, there’s actually MINIMAL amounts of packaging involved—certainly in comparison to processed foods! Not to mention if you don’t eat animals or animal products that’s a whole other “Pandora’s box” of environmental impacts that you’re not participating in! So sorry, Plastic Police, my conscience is clear!

  19. Hooray for squash season! My current favorite is “Honeyboat.” They are SO sweet—almost like a sweet potato! They look exactly like Delicata, except are more peach in color. Do give them a try if you see them—you WON’T be disappointed!

  20. Thank you for your generosity in sharing all your knowledge Tami! I’m just starting out and this is classroom quality info!

  21. ???? What is the recipe for the Dump Soup, is there a video or has he changed it????
