What is it really like being a full time trader trading at home? I want to tell you the truth about full time trading that you don’t hear very often in the trading industry.
Trading full time from home actually takes a lot of discipline to pull off. Not everyone will be able to get use to the full time trading life or the full time traders life.
The life of a full time trader is not about sitting at the beach and then driving fast cars. The full time trader lifestyle really consists of doing a lot of research and work.
As a full time forex trader in singapore, most of my time is just spent doing my research and then monitoring the markets rather than living in 5 star hotels and stuff like that.

I opened a relatively small account. Whenever I make some profit, I will withdraw every few days. In another words, withdraw the money that being deposited. Whatever is left in the account running is profit. How often would you advise to withdraw? Weekly or monthly?

i can understand how you would need a bigger size account for certain reasons, i reside within the U.S but what if you have other sources of income coming in like investments or side hustles that you put back into your account all while trading conservatively and if you happen to incur any draw down using those extra sources of income to fill the gap i believe if you put your mind to it you can make as much as you want too i know its not smart but i have seen people make more than $10k in one trade but that was because the setup was an A+++ set up and were trading multiple standard lots .
introvert here and yes it can be boring but ive notice that by trading ive been able to increase my self discipline not only in trading but in other areas of my life as well, and seeing the results of your own due diligence and self efficacy speaks for itself, and you can make more in one day than working a week at a 9-5 making someone elses dream come true, also karen do you believe trading foreign exchange is more difficult than trading the stock markets, i notice price action is alot more complex in relation to forex more so than options etfs or shares, is it safe for me to assume that once i master the markets of forex day trading stocks should be a piece of cake? or is that just my ego talking?

I hope I can one day use a flat screen TV for my trading. As far as living full time from trading, it does take a lot of capital to make it a life style. But to get to that point, I feel like it's going to be a method of scalping with high-risk trades to build up an account. I'm also looking forward, to getting passive income like rental properties or such and that takes capital to do, too. Either way, it takes money to make money.
I'm definitely an introvert and working fast food at another job… I really need to get that "work from home" thing going 😛
