Whitney Houston was one of those unique vocalists who could sing in a tender, beautiful, smaller sounding voice, and then build it to a much bigger, stronger voice….and then when you think she is really giving you full voice….only then does she launch the real powerful voice. This happens during this song. You think she's giving you everything, then it becomes stronger and more powerful. The only singers I can think of who have done this are Enrico Caruso and Mahalia Jackson and Whitney Houston.
