  1. Catch up fast with the best leveling guide made by Classic's top speedrunners. I've done Loremaster of Northrend 3 times using this, can confirm works very well. Guides for Dragonflight also available! https://www.restedxp.com/?ref=WillE Use Code: WILLE for 5% off!

  2. Not allowing race change for pay makes no sense. Racials changes too much with Wotlk.

People arguing "you should plan when creating it"… well thats exactly what people did, when they created them for classic or tbc. Why would someone create a characted in first state of classic for an expansion that is 2 years off.

There are too many collectibles and mounts etc that people don't want to lose.

Makes no sense since it was actually implemented in Wotlk in retail.

  3. if one faction wins wintergrasp 3 times in a row they should get a reward and the next round should go to the opposite faction without contest. an unbalanced server should not lead to 100% denial(not more than 75%?) for the weaker faction.

  4. They shouldve announced a change to the human racial in wotlk at the same time as they released the date. It's current iteration in pvp is way too good to not get, and now its too late to change it because most serious pvper's have started leveling alliance solely due to that racial.

  5. You know, I find a lot of the criticisms of WoW Classic seem to stem from a lot of issues that are seemingly very exclusive to the higher pop mega servers. A lot of issues that people have could be easily solved by people spreading to lower pop servers, as I play on Windseeker, a server with about a 3,000 player pop and don't have any of the common issues that people experience in the larger pop servers. LFG is entirely usable on my server, and is a frequently used tool for group formation both for Heroics and Raid content.

GDKPs aren't a thing on our server literally at all, and I don't really think that's a bad thing. The amount of gold that gets thrown around thanks to gold sellers just isn't feasible to see when you've only got 3,000 players on a server, so the most you ever see spent on our server is around 10K for BiS Sunwell crafting patterns like the Hard Khorium Battleplate. The rare few GDKPs I have seen on our server, most items only go for at most like 1-2K gold because that's generally how much people on our server are carrying at any one time to reasonably spend.

Progression isn't really hugely an issue, either. While there's not a ton of guilds fully progressed on our Server in Sunwell, and you're certainly not going to see PuG Sunwells, I think it's unreasonable to expect PuG Sunwells to be the measurement of success of a server. Almost everyone on our servers Raids in Guilds, and that seems way more healthy to me than seeking out GDKP PuG Sunwells to get your gear, and way more socially healthy. Give the smaller servers a try, I bet you'll have a lot more fun than you do on the mega servers, folks.

  6. Ulduar was the start of new age raiding. Lots of bosses with tons of mechanics too difficult for the avg casual. If they released the whole thing as the "hardmodes" w/o the option to avoid them, and un-nerfed… the place would have probably went down as the hardest raid to clear ever.

  7. I enjoy wow and try not to complain too much, but if they let the horde sit with OP pvp racials for 2 classic expansions, and then as soon as ally get a good one in EMFH they nerf it, or disable racials, or have a goblin pop out with a flag I would lose my shit! The original reason they added it was bec ally are under represented in pvp and it is the same now. The fact they are even considering that BS is ridiculous. Also, his explanation for no race changes was asinine.

  8. The idea that rpers are the reason for not allowing race changes that were in Wrath because of rpers…but allowing boosts that cost MORE money is one of the most blatant lies i ever seen. The only reason they won't want race change or anything is cause they can make more money with the more expensive boosts.

  9. I will say this, Wrath has its problems and I know blizzard is unfavored in the "trust" department. I do give them props in actually trying to fix/change things for the better or test things out because that is how MMOs are, that's how things work, progression. I just want them to be LISTENING to the community on these things, not just changing and thinking "Yup, we like it so everyone must like it too".

  10. REMOVE FUCKING RACIALS. END OF ARGUMENT

Picking a race should be about look and lore, not what makes the best pvper/pver.

  11. in Vanilla Ulduar was quite difficult. I played it many months after it was introduced. I only went a couple of times, Naxx was the dungeon of choice. And our guild seldom went beyond Saph. KT was not often done (we were not leet)

  12. After clearing Ulduar and obtaining rogue tier helmet with kinky shoulders I quit playing wow.
Ulduar was an ugly and nasty raid. Here is why: [Why ugly?] Weapons look like square boxes at least rogue dagger appearance was garbage compared to Nax weapons., on the other hand rogue kinky shoulders are sexy! [Why nasty?] Ulduar was very difficult, bosses did tone of damage, had lots of hp and boss fight mechanics were more complex as there were more flashy things moving around. The hardest bosses were the mechanical 3-part boss Mimiron and yogg a final boss from aq40. I do recall the bonus boss of ulduar where had to fight in space where our druid was collecting some items for a legendary quest.
During end phase of ulduar players were quitting wow due to burn out therefore Blizz introduced TOC raid in arena to make up with easy raid coz they lost subscribers!

  13. As an undead warlock who wants to play demonology I really hope we can race change next xpac.

  14. I disagree with not introducing faction and race change. I made a Gnome knowing WotLK would have both faction and more importantly race change, so that I could change to Human for WotLK.

Moreover, I even more strongly disagree with removing or changing racials in WotLK: Classic. WotLK PvP without EMFH for all classes except Druids, Shamans and Hunters is not WotLK PvP.

I rolled Alliance in Classic knowing that I'd be playing the underdog faction for two expansions, but I'd have shorter queues and by the time the real thing started, WotLK, I'd have the better racials (EMFH mainly). Why is it that Blizzard is always doing #somechanges to make things better for Horde at the expense of the Alliance playerbase? First they introduced HvH BGs and now they're talking about changing/removing or giving Horde EMFH. I am very disappointed.
