  5. Because people who do sprinting and jumping and stuff require a lot do explosive power which comes from the tendon that reaches your calves. Football is more cardio and doesn’t require that much explosive power

  7. Calf raises do grow ur calfes and im talking from experience. Yeah sure the TENDON under the calf wont grow but every muscle in your body is able to grow. I would recommend doing HEAVY calfe raise in the 5-8 rep range (pause for 2 seconds on the top and bottom) no excuses
